Akc?? Hi everyone. If your dog is already registered with a different kennel club, can it still able to registered with AKC? Thanks!! What are the rules to be able to registered with AKC? |
I think both parents of the puppy has to be AKC registered in order for the puppy to be able to register through AKC |

The parents are not AKC though. Is it mean the dog is no way to join AKC?? |

AKC will allow dogs from a foreign registery (out of the country) to be registered AKC. However, it must comply with the list accepted by the AKC. |
I do believe you can CKC them though without parents haveing papers You have to send pictures and such I belive |
I need to find the link, but, if the dog is registered in a different country (like mine is JKC) and in YOUR name then you can send them in the registration and pedigree from the kennel club they are registered with and have him put as AKC with a nominal fee. I am looking into this for Turbo. |
Yes both parents have to be AKC, and you have to have the paperwork to send in. |
On this subject... if you have a dam AKC and sire ACA, how do you register your puppies with ACA? Do you send the AKC papers to ACA and duel regester your dam? |

Its more than fair. If registering AkC was important to you , you should have made sure that you bought a dog with AKC registered parents. You live and learn mama. |
