Rubbing eyes and face Hey, My rocky at least a few times a day puts his paws on his face then rubs it into the couch , pillow, floor you get the idea. I though maybe its because of his tear stains itching him but I read in a thread I can no longer find that this may be a problem in the works? anyone know of any issues with this? Its cute as hell by the way |
Are his eyes ever red at all? Layla used to do this when we moved into our new place and I never thought anything of it until one day I came home from work and there was blood on her face :eek: she had scratched her eyes so hard there were little scabs around them. I rushed her to the vet and found out it's most likely an allergic reaction to something she's breathing in, so we got eye drops and it made it better. |
no , no redness at all, he does not claw at them or anything like that, his paws stay kinda on the sides and he just rubs his head on a pillow or anything for that matter. hmmm I think its nothing but want to be sure, i trying to look for that thread but i cant find it for the life of me |
My boys do this after they get a drink:rolleyes: they will rub there faces on my pillows and couch, guess they have to wipe there faces off:p |
Molly will do that just when the mood strikes her. I guess it just feels good!! Carla |

Yeah, I think it just feels good. He does it alot when he wakes up in the morning. He will run to the sofa and rub his face in the couch...its really cute! |

COuld just be an itch..or like how we rub our eyes in the morning and through out the day, when we get tired.. I wouldn't worry about it. Daisy likes to roll around and rub her face on the sofa at different times of the day. Occasionally, I see her "batting", "pawing" at her face, maybe at the hair surrounding her face that may be poking her or something. |
Mine iches thier nose too. Gizmo mostly... And yes it is cute as hell. |
