How can I make them sleep longer?? So, I have a "problem". I am not an early raiser. But Chloe always wake me up around 7am (she sleeps with me in bed), sometimes even like 6ish am!!! That is way too early for me!! I normally get up around 8am. When she wakes up, she walks around the bed and then I can't sleep well anymore!! What can I do to solve this problem?? I try to keep her up late at night.....but...I do get tired playing with her after a while or things I have to do...any suggestion?? |
LOL I used to wonder this too!! Teddy is an early bird, he is the first one up, the first one to jump on you and wake you up. I used to hate when he would wake up at 6 am and whine at the side of my bed to come up. I guess if they sleep later the longer they'll want to sleep. Luckily London LOVES to sleep, she's like me :p And Sophia doesn't have a problem with sleeping in either |
i wrote a post earlier about flossies. they work in the am for me. Try to find it or I will come back doing diner right now. julie |
Not an Early Riser !! :asleep: Bogey sleeps with my husband & me. We get up early 4 days/week (5 am) to go to work, the other 3 days Bogey & I sleep until 8:30. I think he wakes up & paws my husband at least once/night because of snoring. He doesn't bother me! (yea!) How old is Chloe? Bogey is 18 mths. & can go most nights without getting up unless he gets thirsty or hungry. |
skoshi wakes up at about 5:30 to 6:00 every morning!!!! used to be about 7:00 every morning but its gotten earlier lol i dont think you can change it unless you let them pee in the house lol! |
If you find the answer, I want to know it!! Mine wakes me up at 6:50 every morning without fail.....doesn't matter what time he goes to bed! lol |
Is she maybe waking you up because she has to potty or because she's hungry? I work at night so when I get home, Jake stays up to play with me for awhile. He is pad trained so I don't have to get up to take him outside, but he wakes me up because he's hungry. I get up and make his breakfast and give him fresh water, then we go back and lay down and sleep for a little while longer. I'm sure if he wasn't up late at night, he would want to stay up once he wakes up in the morning. Maybe try giving her a bully stick or flossie to chew on so you can go back to sleep. |

If you get up to take her potty and feed her, will she go back to sleep? |
Kingston wakes up at 6:30am every morning without fail. I've been keeping track. |
Up until about 1 1/2 - 2 months ago Chloe woke up EVERY night at 4:30am to wake me up so she could get off the bed & go pee, but now she's started sleeping her nights (she's 8 months) & now she doesn't even want to wake up in the morning lol She's a big sleeper. Now, I usually leave her in bed while I'm getting ready (this has only been for about 2 weeks - before then she NEVER would have stayed without me) and she'll sleep until just before I have to leave. Then I literally have to drag her off the bed lol & put her in her own bed so I can leave. She goes right back to sleep in her own bed  Who knows how long she sleeps in while I'm at work lmao |
