Fleas 1 Attachment(s) My 9 month old Dixie has no fleas, I use front line and I am wanting to stop all the harmful pesticides used on my dog. Has any one used Cedarcide repellent on there dogs. I read some wonderful things about it, but you know how that goes. Tell me if you have used it. Ginny Attachment 137158 |
I have not heard of it, but there are many natural ways to repel insects from your furbaby :) Minksheen is a shampoo that many of the members on here use which has a natural insect repellant, but if you don't like that....There are many homemade sprays that you can mix up and spray on your dog before you take him outside. One is lemon juice and rosemary steeped for 15 hours in hot water...Another is using oils like tea tree oil and such diluted in water. Also, adding a little bit of a clove or garlic to their food and sprinkling nutritional yeast on their food is also helpful. What kind of food do you feed? |
i never head to it. i use twenty drops of Euculytus Oil in a full bottle of shampoo and bath them in it. does the trick for me. |
Fleas-----Cedarcide Repellent I found it on the Internet some months ago and it sounds good. I just heard about the LEMON one yesterday. My Dixie has Atopy allergies and has to eat Royal Canine skin support SS 21, she has been on this 2 days. Ginny Cedarcide Insect Repellent Concentrate 16 oz. The aroma of CedarCide to an insect is the same as ammonia to a human. They can easily be overcome. The final result, death. The aroma fumes from CedarCide rise upward into the air. Remember, if you can smell it 10 feet off the ground, so can the insects. That's why it creates an invisible barrier that keeps insects where you want them; away from you! Natural pesticides have been in use for many years. Numerous recipes for pest control are promoted or endorsed by renowned garden experts all over the country. The concept of pest control is the same no matter what you're using. All insects breathe through their bodies, therefore the scent or residue of organic or chemical based pesticides are absorbed directly into the body effecting the insects neurological or biological systems, causing paralysis, confusion, death, or flight response (they will flee the agent in question). The survival of the insect relates directly to its exposure to the foreign substance. The use of chemical pesticides will destroy the microorganisms in soil resulting in unhealthy foliage that is susceptible to insects. Increase insect resistance with CedarCide.100% NaturalSafe for Children and PetsNon-StainingMakes Up to 8 Gallons |
