Need good shampoo, what do you use?
 
What do you use and where do you get it? Gracie and Hallee does not have dry skin or anything. Just looking for something that would be good for them.

I like the Vellus line. Been using it for years along with about 20 other kinds. Every time someone says they like so & so, I have to try it. I probably have enough hair care stuff for my Yorkies to open up a shop.LOL
But I seem to always go back to Vellus.;)

If you prefer dog products then the #1 All System shampoo and conditioner are fantastic.

I've been using Minksheen, and I think it's great! You can go to their site and request a free sample. Make sure you tell them you're a YT member.

I use Biogroom Natural Scents Shampoo in Apple Crisp. :thumbup: :thumbup: Makes him soft and he smells good too. I get it at my local pet store. I don't think they sell it at big chain pet stores though.

Lanolin laser lite, i used the deep concentrated shampoo (Drape) add in with the conditioner it works superb for my babies and they are tangle free... :p

I use MinkSheen now and love it. I have also used Coat Handlers and loved that product as well.

We switch from Minksheen to Cranberry Fields.
Both are great shampoos.

Ok I feel totally stupid saying this because I used to HATE Minksheen (and I still really am not crazy about the smell :rolleyes:) BUT - I have found that it works really, really well on Tatum's hair. So that is what I use on her. For Stedman, Cranberry Fields and Buddy Wash work well. Actually though, I think the Cranberry Fields might even be a little better, so we have stuck with that.

Although I will admit...I was a big goof and cut Stedman's body hair WAY too short, so the last 2 times he's been bathed, I have actually used the Minksheen on him, just because it is easier (one step - no conditioner). However when his hair is longer like it WAS...the Cranberry Fields works better for him.

Quadruped Shampoos. LOVE THEM!! I used to use Milksheen and Bark 2 Basics but the Quadruped products are awesome!

I use the Cranberry Fields Mango shampoo and Lavendar conditioner. Kathryn_V sells it at beyondspoiled.com. After that, I rub in the Cowboy magic leave-in conditioner. I love it.

I use Tropiclean. I keep trying others, but I keep going back to it. I use the shampoo, then I use a couple squirts of the conditioning spray when I'm blow drying. I also use the conditioning spray every couple of days to freshen him up. Smells great, like a Pina Colada!!

I understand what you mean. I used to hate it and I do not like the smell, but a couple months ago I seen a flea on Hannah and I used it to try to keep the fleas off and her hair looked great. When I first got it when she was younger I hated it, but now that the puppy coat is gone it works great.

I also love Cranberry Fields and Pet Silk. Pet Silk makes her hair so silky and it is the only one that will work for Bentley (maltese).

i got my sample and i love minksheen i am ordering some now...piglets hair looks great and no the smell isnt the best but in a day she smells like me anyways :D

Ha ha I quess its worth it to try. I know they have been told alot of people have bought from them from here. They also sent me another sample when I got my order

I got a free beach bag with my order of mink sheen. My son came home the other day and when he got in the car at the airport and was hugging on Cooper, he said..."Hey, Cooper smells like Grandad!!"
I don't mind the smell at all and it fades to not noticeable after a day or so, or I am just used to it.
