Is 3 really that different than 2? I'm thinking of getting another little one. I have two already... a yorkie/bichon and a maltese. I'm thinking of getting another yorkie/bichon. Probably sometime at the beginning of next year. My yorkie/bichon is a year old and my maltese is 9 months. Is 3 really that different than 2 or is it just one more mouth to feed? Please help! :D |
It's not much diff. except that for me it's hard to walk all 3 by myself, my bf usually comes with me or i take them out seperatly. Also it's hard to take them all somewhere. That's about it |
I think the only time it's harder is if you want to take them someplace, or go for a walk with them. If you have a partner you'd be ok. |
I've been wondering this too. My problem is that when I babysit my friends dogs, I always feel like since I've only got 2 arms for petting, I can't love on them all at once. Good luck with your decision. |
I have 4 and its no harder:) i didnt always plan on having that many, but as we all know, yorkies are so addicting:) i just recentley convinced my sis to get her third also, and she loves him and feels the same as you, she has a maltese/yorkie, a big lab and know a yorkie:) lol she told me she will not take anymore vacations from work , since we were bored and i talked her in to it, best to you, i say yahhhhhh go for it:animal36 :animal36 :animal36 |

I have three and I love it. I will take turns taking one with me and the other one can stay home with one. It is three times the expense especially when you need to go to the vet, and the groomers. It is also three times the excitement and love when you come home from work. |
we have a yorkie/cairn cross and two yorkies, they are a pack animal the more the better. When my friends bring their dogs over they all get on like a house on fire and are kinda upset when they go home!!!! |
I have 3 and love it. I have plenty of love for all 3. They all line up for kisses and push each other out of the way to get theirs. I found it impossible to walk all 3, as one likes to run fast, one lags behind and one is scared on walks and will just sit down and not move. |
Well, sometimes I take both of them for a walk by myself, but usually my boyfriend helps. I just contacted my breeder and she said she's planning on having a yorkiechon litter at the end of december-- what a perfect Christmas gift to me! :D I'm gonna ask my boyfriend what he thinks and then I'll decide for sure. Thanks for all your help!! The only problem is she thinks this litter will be bigger than my baby's litter. If that's the case, I may end up getting a yorkie so that he or she is the same size as the two I have now! |
