Braided Tail Artie my 3 1/2 yr. old male has long hair every where, I braid his Tail so he doesn't get any pooh stuck and so I don't have to use Baby wipes (more stuff to carry) and I put a bow on it too, to match his outfit or what ever color his topnot is? Xmas time I tie a small bell to it, I'm trying to grow my other 2 females Tails out too! |
I had Pipers hair cut like that once. It was kind of cute, but I like the puppy cut better. |
2 Attachment(s) I keep Duke's body (and his docked tail), short during the summer months and let the hair on his body grow to about 2-3 inches during the winter months. I always keep his face long though. :) He looks a bit like Gizmo. A groomer once gave him 'Yorkie' ears although I told her to keep his face long and just trim it up. She said that was the only way she knew how to do Yorkie's ears and well, Duke never went back because she just basically shaved every part of his body. :( That's been well over a year and several haircuts though. Also, Duke has always had long hair on his ears so he is used to it. If his hair on his ears get too long they will droop and I've heard if they are used to having short hair on the ears then long hair will make them droop. |
I think thatis a cute cut |
Is it similar to this? 3 Attachment(s) Here are pics of my Yorkie/Maltese mix babies in a puppy cut. I had them trip up the ears and leave the tail alone. I LOVE the cut on them... Ceiba Attachment 136922 Ceiba Attachment 136923 Mojo (formerly known as Ace) Attachment 136924 |

But since she doesn't have the great "up" ears (like your baby!) I'm just sorta at a loss at what to do with them. They look funny right now, because I've kept them COMPLETELY shaved down....but now I think it's time for me to give up on them ever starting to stand! :D |
Here is another super cute Maltese cut that someone here posted: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...t=maltese+hair I think I may have to give that faux pigtails thing a try....too cute! :p |
