Tattoo your dog's I Have my girls Tattooed and I was thinking it might be a good idea for other's on YT ... I did it due to in the area im in not many vets have scanners for microchips ..i also have my babys microchiped..but as a few of you may of noticed i am a wee bit paronoid some one will nab my fur kids ...but living in CA you can see why. I had mine done from a member of my kennel club and i was terrifed it would hurt ... NONE of my dogs cryed kissy face wiggled some ..but she dosnt like to be on her back...and you get the tattoo's Registered so it proof but how much easyer would it be to have posted at a vets office or a pet store or a groomers Have you seen this Tattoo ... i mean how many times have you seen a vet scan a new dog to see if its stolen but a quick glance for a tattoo on the groin ... and some people think all yorkies look alike i thought we could have doggie tattoo meet ups .. the tattoo's were like 15 dollars and like 10 to register i think anyone else on her have there fur kids tattooed? |
Doesn't it hurt them? I know how bad mine hurt.. I can't imagine forcing mine to the same. |

I know when they tattoo horses it's really hard to read the numbers and after a while they seem to fade out, they do horses under thier lip. I have never thought about doing a dog. |

Layla is microchipped and tattooed with her microchip number. It's on her tummy right under her left back leg. She had it done already when I got her at 10 weeks old. It was very very readable and visible back then, but she's just a year and a half old now and it's gotten a little stretched out and faded. I'm sure if it would have been done when she was a little older it would still be clear! |
my german biewer Itzi is tattooed and microchipped. The tattoo is/are in his ears. I had a hard time looking at the tattoos in the beginning. It reminded me of Nazi Germany. |
