Diggy has a sweet tooth like me - I'd have snuck some on ya too I think he'll be ok too - you probably didn't need to do the peroxide for that amount - plus it was milk chocolate - but at least you have peace of mind |
Well I was again in panic mode...called the vet and followed their orders....She said something about his weight and how much chocolate and 1/2 tspn should work....well its over he is up romping beating up Bella so I think he is ok.. |
I wish you would've called me when all this was going on, I bet you were in Full Force Paranoia Paula Mode. Heart pounding, shaky and all, I'm certainly no stranger to that terror and panic. My friend in Florida has a 4 pound poodle that ate most of a bag of cadbury eggs. She had some diarrhea but was fine. Don't worry sweetie, he's a very strong little boy. I'd be glad to take "hell on wheels" off your hands until he's through with his puppyhood!! (Or maybe just for a week). You need to get some sleep! He's acting normal and he'll be fine. Instant Message me when you get back from taking Tannar to his party. Diggy - stay out of the sweet treats. Stick to chasing your food across the kitchen floor baby. |
I'm glad you got it out. Maybe the consequences will teach him not to touch it anymore. |
Diggy is at it again, I see. Make sure to give him lots of water so he doesn't get dehydrated from vomiting. I bet he will be okay in no time. |

And for those of you that dont know Diggy is kinda hand fed I have to sit on the kitchen floor and skid his food across it (hard wood) he chases it, THEN he will eat it. He has to attack it and kill it before he will eat it...its not that bad....the whole eating process takes about 15-20 minutes being it has to be skidded one piece at a time. He's not spoiled. :p |
