To work with you? I just found out that I am going to be able to bring Dakota with me to work. I was wondering how the mommy's and daddy's on YT prepare to bring there little one to work? What all do you bring? I was thinking about bringing her crate, and some toys, and some food.. anything else? She is not going to be trained on Potty Pads. Thanks for the help! |
Everyday I bring her crate, toys and leash. I leave at work set of bowls for food and water, food, snacks for her when she goes potty outside. I am crate training Bella right now and have continued that training at work and she seems to be doing really well. |

Thats what I think I am going to do. It took me forever to Potty Train Aubrey, but now I not only think I could train her faster, but I also have Aubrey to take outside, so it will remind me to take her outside, also. That was my biggest downfall with him, was I wasn't taking him outside a lot at first. |
I keep a journal too of Bella's eating and bathroom times, that way if I get caught up in work and look over at the last time she went it reminds me that I have to take her out soon. Plus I like to track to see how often she goes, etc.... |
Scooter comes to work with me every day. I bring fresh bottled water and food, and I keep a travel-size playpen at work with a bunch of toys for him. I also bring baby-wipes (just in case). I leave a baby blanket here in case the A/C gets too cool. He loves it here.:) |

Thats a good idea. You sound just like a mama ;) |

I thought about getting a playpen, but I don't have that much room, until we move into our new building. |

Yeah, this is. I to watched my parents train a dog, and then once I got AUbrey, I was the only one training him. "You learn from your first child" So hopefully this one will go a lot faster and smoother. :)! |
Oh yeah, make sure you give yourself some extra time in the morning to get her all ready to go to, don't want to be late to work! LOL |
Lol. Yeah!! I don't have to be at work until 11 :)! |
when i was in my office (i work from home now) i had a bed, travel bag/crate thingy, a basket with some toys, a food and water bowl and a little supply of food in a zip lock baggie that i kept at work. I trained maggie to go potty by putting bells on the door that she can ring when she needs to go out, so i got some bells for my office door. I also kept a brush and some baby wipes, and a few extra hair bands. I also took a set of pj's in case the office a/c was down low and it was cold in there :) good luck!!! it's awesome to be able to bring your baby to work! I consider it a huge blessing. |
