Tara: I missed this whole "THING" that is going on, and ya'll know it's a "THAAANG"! I was not refering to a specific situation, I was just saying that I'd like to see YT as a place where people can continue to speak freely.

Why is this even being brought up? Is a post like this hurting anyone? I have seen it done many times before this with nothing being said. I really don't see a problem. Can't we all just get along? Everyone on here is great, and no we are not all going to agree on everything. I wish things could just be pleasant!!!!!

Julz - you are sweet. I think it would be nice if everyone could get along, too.

I have to say, if anyone were to post erroneous information, there will be plenty of people to speak up. We are not going to agree to everything 100%, there are an awful lot of different people here. We ALL have one thing in common - our Yorkies, our love of Yorkies. They are all different, what is good in the north is not always the same in the south. In an apartment vs. house. What one person does religiously will be wrong for another. We each have to use our brains to sort out what will be right for our pet and family. Not everyone will have unlimited financial resources for their babies. When in doubt, there will always be another opinion. It is never ok to attack another person.

Now that, of course, is my opinion.

I couldn't agree more with the first post on this thread. Debates are always fun and it's beneficial for people whom have little knowledge of the topic because they can read through different opinions and learn a little bit here and there.
When it comes to dogs, there are a lot of opinionated things such as the way your dog is raised, where it comes from, how it was bred and who did the breeding, the way you feed your dog, et cetera. People do different things and approaches certain topics at a different angle than the person next to them but at the end of the day, we all have one thing in common.. our pets. I think that's the joy of being a part of such a big forum. This place is so diverse, we share pictures of our little ones and even ourselves, we tell stories and laugh, most of our boyfriends/husbands/fiancees (and of course girlfriends and wives) think we're crazy for being so addicted and all-in-all.. YT is a fun place.
I cannot seem to grasp on to all of this drama (or melodrama) that seems to be popping up in certain threads lately. I think we just all need to learn from eachother and if someone posts their opinion as a fact, it should be our duty as a good member to this forum and as a friend to correct that person and do it in a respectful manner. If there is something that you just don't agree with, take to it privately through the PM system that we have.
If there is resentment towards anyone because of something that was in the past, such as maybe a personal disagreement on a topic or anything for that matter.. I think I am safe to say that we are all adults here and can handle it in an adult manner.
YorkieTalk is a great forum and is among the most fun forums I've ever participated in! I think the majority can agree that this is a really fun website to visit. I really hope that this forum remains that way. Admin is doing a great job keeping it up! :p

I am still new here and have only posted a couple of times, I posted my opinion one time on a thread that was not yet a heated thing and got some not so nice things said afterwards, things got worse after that(no I was not involved) but I was reading it.

The last week alone that I have been reading, there have been somethings said to other people that should not have been said. I believe if someone is venting frustrations at something and is asking for help we should let them vent here on YT and help them. That post turned ugly and because that person showed their frustrations people attacked her (they actually told her to grow up and to give her new baby a new home). I thought that was sad, seeing what I have seen lately makes me very scared to post anything about questions I have with my new baby. Like everyone says when you are typing you are not getting what the person is actually feeling.

I love YT and most posts have helped me alot.

I think this thread was a good idea, yes debating can be fun yet sometimes somepeople take other peoples opinions the wrong way.

I'm sorry someone is going to leave, but I don't remember reading about it, and I try to read everyone's post. Let's all act grownup, and there won't be any problems.

I want to say that when I posted this thread, it wasn't with one, or two, or 5 in mind, it really was with everyone in mind. And I mean everyone in a positive way. Maybe the "!" threw it off, because I was typing in a very "gentle tone of voice". Even had little warm fuzzies going on. I was surprised at the sprial it took. I honestly feel like this place is a blessing...I don't say it to look for brownie points or to remind someone anything in particular....just to say "Thank You" for such a diverse, educational and fun place to go to, and I still can't believe its free!

I still love it here! I try to avoid "contraversial" threads. I try to make YT work for me - I read what interests me, and avoid subjects that either don't relate to me or are going to make me upset. Otherwise, I love it here & I wouldn't change a thing. And I agree with Julz - I can't believe it's free!!!

I have never belonged to a community where the waves didn't crush the beach sometimes - we are all human. Answering to posts that aggrevate you makes things worse not better. So how can you all help to stop ie bickering ?
Stop replying to the posts, stop commenting and most of all, do not gossip about it in chat.
I am sorry to hear that feelings has been hurt - that is never pleasent - and I hope everything works out!
