Cailin I think if you continue giving Sally enough attention it should be ok, a friend of mine may get a yorkie too so I may dogsit for him, also I'm getting Phoebe lil sis in few weeks (I hope) so it really depend of the dog, don't worry let them do their thing;) |
Sally will be jealous at first, but then she will get to know the new puppy and they will probably become good friends.:) Just let them get to know each other on their own terms, and make sure you pay lots of attention to Sally so that she doesn't feel left out. As for advice, make sure your sister-in-law provides a crate and pee pads (unless you're outdoor training), food, treats, toys and chewies. She may want to leave some Nutrical with you just in case of an emergency. I think it's wonderful that your sister-in-law has someone to care for her new puppy while she is at work!:) |
re babysitting. Hi you are so good to answer so quick and have the answers to give me the confidence to do what i need to do and know i can do it i just love the yorkies this is my second one i had hooch first for 13 years and had to let her go to sleep i got her when she was 2 years she was a rescue dog and would not have been as brave as sally so my fondess for the yorkie goes back a while. cheers again cailin: ps i while soon have a photo of sal on site |
