I am so sorry :( about having to re-home one of your babies. You will find a good home. |
I want to spayed both of them. But money is tight right now. Just got my Maggie medical needs all taken care of and she is doing great now. I have offerd Daisy to my son and told him that I will continue pay for all her medical needs. He said he would try her out. He has one of her puppies now. and doing ver well. Daisy needs a lady or man lonely and wanting lots of one on one attention.. She is a cuddler and lazy.. But when they stare each other down ..It is awlful..One of my Babies are going to get hurt. we are taken turns at nite in crates. Because we can be sleeping and POW A FIGHT..OUT OF NO WHERE |
I hope whoever you rehome her to, you do so on a spay contract or have her spayed beforehand. Sorry you have to rehome her. If I were you I'd have both of them spayed before I'd even think of rehoming one. You really owe it to them to try everything you can first. |
Daisy is spending the nite with maybe her new family tonite. I feel so guilty...and sad..I have never given up on anything |

I am so sorry you had to rehome Daisy, I know it is breaking your heart. You have done everything to prevent it, but for both of their safety I think you are doing what you have to do. I hope Daisy works out really well in her new home and they spoil her just as much as she deserves! She is a little cutie pie. |
Prayers for you all and especially for Daisy. :( If you can only afford to spay one of them maybe you can do Daisy first. If she is not spayed, a new home may not solve the problem and I'm sure you don't want her to be passed from home to home. Maybe if she could just stay with your son for awhile recuperating from the spay and letting the hormones settle, you might be able to take her back soon. I hope so for both of your sakes. I am sure she is also confused and as hurt as you are.:cry2: |
Oh I feel so sorry for you ! I answered your last thread about this, as I had the same thing start with my 7yr old spayed bitch and the coming up 4 entire bitch I bought last year. A breeder friend of mine here in Scotland told me that as they had only had one fight at that point, that I could put a stop to it by being very firm with them. They do the staring thing as well, and it's always the younger new-comer Tammy who lets rip - Tara is so placid, but has always been the Queen, even when it was just her. Then when she was 3.5 I got her a boyfriend Casper 19 months at the time, and now 4.5 and she was still the Queen, with no problems at all. But all changed with Tammy - she is such a tease and goads Tara by stealing toys off her and even her bed from under her. I was gobsmacked at how Tara tore into Tammy after Tammy went for her first ! I have to say I am always with them, and that helps anyway, but Tammy has only tried to go for Tara once more since then.....when I had Tara under my arm, and went to put Tammy under the other arm while carrying them - wow - Tammy just lunged at Tara, but I droped Tammy and gave her a telling off. She knew fine she had done wrong - she has a habit of cowering on the floor, all sheepish - probably from her terrible previous life - but I have to say that is the last trouble I have had. The slightest look from either of them and I TUT TUT them and they are fine. :) I only got another female because I thought two males would fight ! I would deffo try spaying the two of them as soon as you can. I am about to spay Tammy anyway - I just left it a bit in case I decided to have one litter off her first, but nothing happened last time, and the timing won't be good in August, so if I don't do it this time she will be spayed. I really feel for you - as it really takes you back how these tiny dogs can be so vicious ! Tammy doesn't mean any harm - I think she is playing, but in a dominent manner due to her previous life where she even had to fight for her food, poor thing. Her ears are just tatters under the hair. I am watching out that what has happened to you doesn't happen to me ! I hope you can do something - if not she won't be short of a very good home - she is gorgeous ! :animal-pa Debra x x x x |
