Whose yorkies are licensed? I know that all dogs are supposed to be licensed in the city they live in (at least they are where I live), but neither Wesley or Maddie are licensed. I keep telling myself that I should get them licensed, but I haven't gotten around to it. I've also had cats growing up and we never licensed them. Who here has bought licenses for their yorkies (or other animals)? Am I the only one who hasn't? |
nope i havent either!! our not alone  |
i dont even know what that means so nope mine arent i didnt even know you were supposed to do that? |
no license here! i hear its even more if they arent fixed too.. eeekk!! |
All of mine are. Here it is 3.00 more or a total of 21.50 per unspayed or un neutered animal. I'd rather be safe than sorry and get a fine, plus I know that if an animal that is unregistered gets picked up by AC they will NOT be returned to you unless you have or will get their registration. Pretty scary stuff! |
I had to get Roxie licensed. In my city you must resister your animal in order to receive your rabies tag, otherwise you will only have the rabies paper certificate. I didn't want to risk Roxie not having her tag. |
Gracie is licensed, micro chipped and has her AKC registry/locator tag as well. |
Both of our boyz are licensed with the city...it has to be renewed with their rabies shot. If I remember correctly, the price is determined by whether it's a 3 year shot or a 1 year shot and also by whether or not your pet is spayed or neutered. |
for some reason one of my babies IS licensed in NYC (Friday) but I never did get around to getting a license for Monday ... Just another way for the mayor of NYC to get money from us. Since his "congestion" pricing did not get passed. I bet he will raise the price on the dog licenses. ($8 for neutered animals, $11 for non- neutered animals) ... |
every year this paper comes in our mail telling you to up date your pet reigistry... we haven't done it yet... how do they know when we got her... so we will probably never do it you have to pay every year... |
My two are licensed. There is a fine if your dog is picked up and not licensed so I just went ahead and got them. I think it was $2 per dog. |

I was going to here in PR but things just seem weird here when it comes to laws. When i get to Nebraska i will definitely register my dog (s) because its the law and also it seems to be another safety measure if they get lost. All the money goes to help the human Society and to me u cant beat that. |
Licensed here! Its $7.50 per year for a spayed or neutered dog. Plus if your dog gets out and picked up or brought to the pound you get 1 free phone call home per year and you don't have to pay to get them out! Well worth it!:animal-pa |
one of my dog is licensed chubby but i have to renew it where i went it cost 30 bucks to get him licensed and 25 bucks to renew it. i haven't renew it yet and i have a new little girl so when every she goes get her 4 months shots i'll probably get them licenses... oh yah laura have you been going to the meet up any more?... it seems so far away now... and how often do you go to the alameda dog park and what days... maybe i can bring chubby by to play one day and the new baby for you to meet |
Mine are both licensed it is the law here and it is expensive as well. |
Our puppy is registered with AKC and we purchased the lost and found. We are going to license him as soon as he gets his rabies. He is getting microchipped when he gets fixed in a couple of weeks. I don't want to take any chances if he happens to get lost/stolen. It is really cheap! I think I have spent more on allof his doggie clothes and toys :D This breed is SO MUCH FUN to buy for! |
Not registered here. Ellie had her rabies shot and got the tag from the vet but not the certificate. I think it is about 7 dollars for an altered dog but Ellie isn't spayed so I don't know how much it would be. It is the law here as far as I know. |
