At what age ... full grown? At what age are Yorkies considered no longer puppies and full grown? |
I'm curious about this too |
At the age of 1, 12 months! |
growing tapers off at about 7 months. some will prove me wrong and have a growth spurt at about a year of age. i would have to safely say once they are a yr old, that will be their full grown size. now if you are not asking a growing question and asking personality .... i would say that most are grown up at about 5 yrs. i think they act like puppies until they are about this age now this is jmo...i have nothing to back my statement except my own life with dogs |
Thanks for the information we have 6 months to go before we will know for sure :) |
Chip is about 7 months now and has grown maybe a little, if at all in the last month and a half or so. He really did grow fast before then. We brought him home at 8 weeks old and he was 2.6 lbs. The next 3 1/2 months after that he grew and is now 6.1 lbs and has been ever since. I believe he is full grown now, but you never know! |
