Any yorkie over the standard 7 lbs we call a teapot |

Yes, I would say Kobe is a true Teapot. Welcome into the Teapot club Kobe. That's just a term for a larger Yorkie. |
I always thought "teapot" meant small. |
So where's the club to join? |

:questione Ohhhh, I get it now. |
2 Attachment(s) My Otis is 9 pounds of yorkie love. I had a 3.5 pound baby before him (RIP Shorty). I wanted one a little larger because I always worried about Shorty getting stepped on or injured somehow. Didn't work, because now I worry about Otis for other things!!!! He's the perfect size...Not too big, not too small!! |

1 Attachment(s) That is too cute. I love when they fall asleep together. |
He is a cutie!!! Size doesn't matter as long as you love him. There are alot of YT'ers who have teapot sized yorkie's. If size doesn't matter to you it won't matter to your cute boy!!! |
Kobe is So cute! I too have a "teapot". Willy last weighed in at 18lbs of pure joy, I love his size, I dont feel like I constantly have to watch out for him, and he is great with our 4 year old daughter. Willy just loves everyone & is such a pleasure to have around. I'm sure Kobe will bring you as much pleasure as Willy does for us. Desiree:thumbup: |
OMG, the title of your thread is funny! Sorry, I had to laugh about that. Nah, size of a yorkie is solely your preference. |

I have a big boy too and felt that he may not be precieved as the 'real thing' beacuse he is large. This tread has been great, I love my teapot!!!! |
First, he is VERY cute! I love his sweet face!!! And, no matter what his size, he is a true yorkie! Size doesn't matter to me at all. Jake is 4 lbs. 4 oz. which is very tiny, and to be honest, I wouldn't mind it if he were bigger. After having Lily, who was just a pound when she died,:lovewings I defintely learned how hard it is when they are so tiny like that. |

I can't imagine having one that small. That's about the size of Kobe when when he was 8 wks old. |

I see how the Yorkie standard can be 7 lbs. But there are a lot of Yorkies over that amount. |
he has THE cutest face i've ever seen! |
2 Attachment(s) Oh he is so sweet! More to love! I have a teapot as well and he is 15lbs and I wouldn't change a thing. This is a Cody and he is 1/2 yorkie 1/2 silkie with big floppy ears. When he was a puppy he looked like a pure yorkie but he now looks a little different |
1 Attachment(s) And here is my little Teapot !:D |
Hah...funny title... |
3 Attachment(s) Here's my teapot (though I don't know WHERE I'd found a teapot big enough:D ) ... all 14 pounds of him. Just tell him he's NOT a Yorkie. G'head. You won't be the first.:p |
Than Nose!!!!! :p Could he get any cuter??? I mena seriously I am sitting here wanting to just kiss his face and love on him!!! How cute is he???? wow Id say heck ya he's true and its no diffent then seeing a 3-4 pound yorkie Standard is 5-7 pounds but they come small, big, skinny, chubby all shapes and sizes. |
