Does your yorkie do this...zooming around the house Every time my hubby gets into the shower, closing the bathroom door, Gracie takes off zooming around the house like a mad dog. Hubby says she never does this when I take a shower. |
Mine do it a lot. Especially after baths. Its funny |
Zooming Yes my little one does it also. She does it after baths, after I brush her teeth at night. After flea and tick application, after I clean her eyes. Have no idea why but it is awfully funny to watch. j:) |
yep mine does it. when my mom "nana" or i play with him and of course after baths. |

Mine is doing it right now as i am typing this:) He is running like a mad yorkie thru the living room and as he passes the blue elephant he attacks it!!! lol to funny |

Q does that too. She use to do it all the time but is calming down a bit with age. The oddest things will get her going. She will bark and then run around as fast as she can growling at herself. She finishes it off by jumping on her sisters faces and backs (much to their annoyance, lol). |

Higgins is a top-rated racer-around-the-houser! Also, when he succeeds in catching his frisbee, he will often race "around" something. The house (outside), the tree, the campsite. It's his "victory lap." Love that kid! :D |
Oh yes, my two do that after their baths and 'every' evening about 8 o'clock:D Sometimes they get to going so fast that I'm afraid they'll bump into a piece of furniture and knock themselves out:eek: |
Yeah my Rocky is a total nut job. He has no respect for his own body what so ever. Iv had a couple scares with him cause he love to jump on and off things. I still cant beleive how high the little sucker can jump |
zoey makes a panting noise with every step. It sounds like she is saying ha ha ha ha ha as she goes. Ears back, flat to her head...so she is aerodynamic!!!! |
My yorkie does not do this but my pug Dakota does all the time. He always has the zoomies!!!!! |

Re: Zooming around the house Yep, my yorkie is 5 mos. old and is like a jet throughout the first floor. I guess she is trying out for the Yorkie olympics. :eek: I will be sitting on the sofa and all of a sudden she comes barrelling around the corner and tries to jump on the couch! Even at night she does that at times. |
Yep, all of mine do that all the time!! It is called the zoomies. I just love watching them zoom around, I need to get it on video, it is just so funny to watch!! |

Honda ad when zoomie was a puppie she would just spaz out zooming around the house and allll of my friends would sing the zoom zoom song ...it stuck she loves her tv comercial also get all wiggly i even put it in her AKC namie |
I wonder why it only happens when hubby is in the shower? That's funny. I wish we could ask them what they're thinking? Mine only do it after baths. Sometimes Ollie will play on the couch and jump down, run a cirlce with his tail tucked under and jump back on the couch. He does it over and over and over. I just laugh! |
Yes, AUbrey does, sometimes after he gets his bath, but other times he will just do it out of no where..lol. Crazy dogs. |
