First Meet Up!
 
Hi! Alll I posted in the regional section, but just wanted to let everyone know that we had our first Asheville Yorkie Meet Up on Saturday! It was really fun and I am really excited to start doing them! There was no organizer for our area, so I decided to it... You should check www.meetup.com to see if there is an group in your area, if not you should start one!

OMG that pic with the pink leash in Bunny's mouth is soooo cute !! She is such a doll....I had fun at the meetup I went to also - it's so great seeing a bunch of yorkies running around - each one is so different !!

You have 2 with darker colors and she had lighter yorkies - interesting ...and great shots !

I'm so jealous!! I can never find anyone in my area to meetup :( I'm glad you had fun, though!!

Hate to say it but I'm jealous too! That is so awesome. It didn't even know things like that existed. Those pics are adorable! What did the dogs do there? I think Cookie would go nuts barking at everyone. :) If only there was one close to Cincinnati. I guess for now Cookie and I will have to live vicariously through you. :D

Wow! Great photos...I too love the one of Bunny with the leash in her mouth...That is a great shot...

I am a member of the NY Group...But have never gotten to bring Sammi, because the days so far I have had plans :(

I hope soon I can have Sammi meet everyone...Hopefully she will be social!!

Aww, looks like great fun! The first Seattle meetup of spring is this coming Saturday. We're all hoping for no rain! It should be a fun event! :)

You should TRY - You may be surprised - I worried about my girls and they LOVED it - they wanted to be held alot...but mostly they looked at all the other yorkies/doggies...Hey - Even a Chi named Snickers was there getting fresh...lol...

I could tell mine were a little awed by all the other yorkies...but they were on their best behavior...It really is a good experience for them...Your Cookie may end up making a new friend :)

You are in a big city! I would be shicked if there wasnt one near you!!! If not you should start one! I have put flyers up in all of the pet supply stores and doggie boutiques and after only having our group for a week, I have already gotten quite a few replies! Just type in your zip code on www.meetup.com and you'll see!

My two (esp. Tino) have not been socialized at all until lately and they really enjoyed themselves! It really is special to see them playing with other Yorkies! Thank you for all of the compliments guys!

They both came from Texas! I had theeee hardest time finding a breeder in NC when I first started looking... no one had pups at the time!

Fast Eddie,Is there such a thing as a day with no rain in Washington? LOL. I am just kidding it is a beautiful state and I miss going there for vacations.

I think I might do a meet up here too, my boutique has a small playyard that is available for things like that and I might give it a try. There is no organizer here so I will have to commit, I just wonder since it has been 3 yrs since the people in the original group were together. Anyone here from Va???
