My boys very first Bully Sticks!!! 2 Attachment(s) Otis and Oliver got a package today from Bella and Diggy!!!! Their very first Bully Sticks. They LOVE them!! Otis carried his around for a long time and licked it and then buried in his pop up crate. (Buried treasure!) He hasn't buried anything since he was puppy!! Ollie is still "putting the hurt" on his as we speak. Thanks Paula and Bella and Diggy, we're so glad you are our friends!!! First pic is Otis, second one is Oliver. |
Update. Oliver stole the Otis buried, so Otis stole his. I have a feeling I'm going to be spending a lot of money on bullies in the future. |

Uh oh!!! Beware of the bully sticks!!! They're HIGHLY addictive among yorkie's!!! haha..just kidding... Tobi LOVES his bully stick and behaves like he's in withdrawal when I take them away from him! haha :aimeeyork |
I finally took them away for the evening and put them on the microwave. I now have 2 babies sitting in the kitchen staring at the top of the microwave. Guess I need to find a better spot to put them for the night! |
awwww ur welcome. I am so happy they liked em! I take mine away at night too as Diggy is relentless on his..... |
Where can I find these "Bully Sticks" ? |
Mine love bully sticks too. They're a great "babysitter" when you have something you need to do and need to keep them occupied. Just make sure that you take them away when they get too small to avoid choking. |
I'm in central Texas, and I haven't been able to find them. Do they sell under a brand name or something? Can you only get them on the internet? I've seen the pixie stix on a YTers site, but I would like to have him try one before I order a bunch. |
Oh Paula, you have some handsome fellas there! :) |
I have been trying like mad to find bully sticks, but it's impossible to find anything in my little county in pennsylvania, i do a lot of online shopping for Vinnie, but it's getting expensive!! Spoiled little brat!! :-) |
As far as I know you can get them at any Pet Store. Petco, Pet Depot(local pet store for me), PetSmart (here they are the brand RedBarn Bully Sticks), some Pet Stores may have them labeled Pizzle Sticks. Lol. PM me and lemme know if you still cant find them and I can getcha a few if you would like. ;) |
I think I may just have to go get some for Livi and Harley this weekend! Your pictures are adorable!!!! Too funny that they sit and stare at the top of the microwave. :p Tammy |
looks like his smoking a cigar! |
Vinnie's Mom...I looked up PetSmart store locator and there are three sorta close you..it "says" Greensburg, Tarentum, and Monroeville...all around 30 miles from Indiana,PA. So if they are right...you can try one of those PetSmarts..they should have bully sticks. Judy in Waco...PetSmart's website says there is a PetSmart in Waco. Have you checked for bully sticks there? They should have them...I dunno why they wouldnt. They are RedBarn Bully Sticks. Goodluck yall...hope you find some..your babies will love em! Like I said..if you cant find them and you want me to getcha some...just PM me! :D |

I must admit though, the thought of what a bully stick is grosses me out slightly, but if Vinnie ends up loving them, he gets them and i won't withhold kisses afterwards! |

Bengi loves his bully sticks, but they are sooo stinky! and he always comes to kiss me after chewing one eeekk :) |
Yep, mine all have bully stick breath too. Mine love them so much that I order them in bulk off ebay. They cost at least $3 /each in the stores here but when I buy in bulk off ebay, I can get them for about $.95/each. Much more affordable. |

I too gave Zoey and Boston their first bully sticks today. Everytime Zoey gets ahold of one Boston leaves his to go steal hers and chews on both of them. I have to keep taking one away to give back to Zoey. |

Thanks for the warning, Tara. I told her she's a great friend, but a bad influence. You know Zoey's probably had peach jello, and popsicle's and Paula's house!!!!! |
Jell-o Okay.....Zoey doesnt like Peach Jello.....Bella doesnt either Diggy will match me bite for bite if i let him. :p |
Oooh yay thanks for the info! I'll go grab up a few as soon as possible. I can't wait to see my furbabies bully their sticks! (lol such a bad joke. I had to) but yeah really, I am excited to buy them. -A. & S. |
I gave my little boy his first bully stick on Thursday. He chewed on it for 2 hours and then I took it away. I gave it to him again last night and when I went to take it from him, he got aggressive. I was shocked. He never did this before . Not with food, toys, or anything else. Did anyone ever have this problem? How do I correct it? Should I not give this to him anymore? |
Otis does do everything he can to not let me have it. It's the most aggresive I've ever seen him, but not too bad. Don't have any helpful tips, just wanted you to know your not alone. |
