I agree with you Sonja.....Puppies 1st shots aren't usually or at least shouldn't be given until the 8 & 9th week (10 days for immunities to kick in) 2nd shot 3 weeks later. I don't let mine outside until their 2nd shot. Besides, puppies go off food when they are relocated...or in any strange environment.....hyperglycemia can set in. Especially a pup that is 7 weeks, by gosh they barely are getting their teeth in, and have just started to eat well on their own. Socialization from mother's siblings and others within the pack is very necessary. My mother's do their main training between 8 & 12 weeks. Other's may have obtained their dogs at 7 weeks with no adverse reactions. But, from a knowledgable, experienced breeders those incidents are few and far between. |
