Pixie jumped out of the stroller 4 Attachment(s) I took all 3 girls for a nnice long walk and all 3 rode back in the stroller. As I was getting them out in the garage, I had Maya in my hands as she will try and jump out, to my surprise Pixie jumps out and lands on her face! on the cement floor. I almost had a hear attack. She was pretty freaked out at first and was shaking and seemed to be holding her one leg strange. I was afraid she inured her mouth as well. After she calmed down she seems fine (fingers crossed) she is eating and I checked her legs and mouth and theyseem ok. These girls are going to be the death of me. Here's some pics of them right before she jumped and they are all pretty worn out so they look frazzled!! Also some pics of Pixie in a hat!! |
3 Attachment(s) A few more hat pictures |
Your babies are absolutely adorable! I bet that did scare you to death! Susanah jumped off the bed once, and I nearly fainted. I'm glad she's OK! |
HA!!! when I read "Some pics of Pixie in a hat" I thought you meant she was WEARING the hat... she's actually in it :p That is too cute!!! I had a similar scare yesterday. Paddington tried to jump halfway down the stairs! He also landed on his face. I was freaking out, but he was fine and wanted to go play with his stuffed animals... I think it just startles them at first, then they bounce back. I'm glad to hear that she's okay! -O |
Too cute!!!! They are all adorable. Glad she is okay! |
they are sooooo cute i liek the one of all three on the stroller frankie thinks hes superdog and hes invincable and he jumps off the cuch and my cal king bed and i run after him and tell him no no no but my son was laying in the floor the other day and frankie was on his chest and franks jumped down from his chsest which is maybe a foot away from the floor if even and he as whining and holding one paw funny and i freaked and thought he hurt himself and i calmed he and then bam there he goes went and jumped pff the couch again and i was like you turd you were fine, but you leap tall couches in a single bound but you cant leap small chests to the floor, silly silly yorkies i tell you |
I hope Pixie is okay--we, too, had a similar scare last night! My hubby was holding Oscar and Emmy in his arms while outside. Something startled Oscar and he jumped and fell on the cement! He was crying--I just knew it was going to be BAD! We checked him over good and within a few minutes, he was playing like nothing had happened. HE IS GOING TO BE THE DEATH OF ME! Emmy really wasn't ever sick or injured--just the normal yorkie baby stuff--Oscar is going to be all boy! Hope this finds you and Pixie feeling better--I know it was a scare! |
I'm glad Pixie is all right! These little guys are soooo fast. Love your pictures. |
Glad Pixie was okay....btw....they are all so SWEET!!! When Mojo was little, he fell from my arms to the concrete...he shock for awhile and whined. I freaked out and hauled a$$ to the vet and they checked everything and gave him a shot for pain...all was well. Just freaked me out! The vet said that these little ones are tougher than we think, but shoot that was a hard fall! |
I sure hope Picie is okay and was just freaked out!!! She oes look very cute in the hat!!! What I do with my girls in the stroller (if you can understand what I'm trying to describe) - the stroller has a strap to clip onto a harness inside. Well, it is long and skinny much like ones that are found in carriers. On the opposite wall near the floor of the stroller is a little loop. I connect the clip to the loop then use the techers from the Snoozer carseat around the strap that I created - just like it looks into the seat belt. Then, I can control how much stretch room they have and it works much better for us. |
I'm always nervous that one of mine jump or fall and hurt themselves. I keep their little harnesses on and if I am carrying them, I have my finger stuck under the strap just in case. I would probably have a heart attack if one of them fell and got hurt. |
Well I hope she's alright too! You never know what's going through their minds, when they do not so bright things.. Daisy was very young when she jumped out of my hold and hit the hardwood floor. I almost had a heart attack! She was blinking and walking backwards and a minute later, she was running around again. Whew! Nowadays, I hold her tighter than ever. That little jumper. Another reason added to the list of "why I don't let others hold her". :p |
Thanks Pixie is doing fine. I have their harnesses and leashes on and wrap them around the stroller handle but I had unwrapped them all. Next time I will unwrap one at a time. I never walk around carrying them for fear of them jumping and have to yell at my dtr as she is always carrying Cali around. |
