I've never laughed harder in my life...

My cousin & I took my babies for a walk last night. We did not get far, we passed the first sprinkler and my little one (4.5lbs) went NUTS!!!! Attacked the sprinkler, had the whole flow of water in hs mouth!!! :eek: he was barking and growling and going NUTS! I had tears coming down my face it was funniest thing I have ever seen!!! He did this once before last summer and I totally forgot! He attacked EVERY sprinkler on the walk, rolling on them and biting at the head (all while they were going)!! He was soaking soaking wet and shaking like a leaf after that but I took him home and dried him and he was fine!

Anyone else have a sprinkler attack dog????

YES! Max does exactly the SAME thing, LOL!!! It's so hilarious, but I sometimes am a little worried b/c he gets water up his nose and starts hacking and snorting....but he goes right back to the sprinkler to get it, LOL. It really is hilarious......except right after I've given him a bath and afterward, he traipses thru the sand:( . They're such little monkeys, LOL

We had a dog once...a blue heeler..... who loved the sprinkler. Now my son has a red heeler who is scared to death of sprinklers. Go figure. Maybe you baby was protecting you from those scarey sprinklers:D

Scruffy, our first Yorkie, used to attack the HOSE. He would grab it and run around the yard with it in his mouth!

He would start whining and making little growly noises as soon as I turned the faucet to the hose. If I stood there without turning it on, he would start barking wildly.

I can just picture your babies attacking sprinklers. TOO FUNNY!

Mine have never attacked a thing. They will walk a wide path around sprinklers. Maybe the next time you can take a movie of that. It sounds so funny.

Oh yes!!!! Archie is a sprinkler fan. He loves water. I can't turn on the hose without him right in front of it all the time. face first. you wonder how they can do it. I couldnt' go face first in front of a hose.:dribble:

I don't know what it is about the sprinkler, but he does go head first.. he does snort and cough and gag a bit... but goes right back for more... like he didnt get it and its going DOWN!!! HAHA

he hates water... fight to give him baths, wouldnt dare go swimming by himself... but I dont know whats up with the sprinkler! I think hes trying to protect me! He does something similar with the vaccuum when its on and running and Im vaccuumming! :D :D

Tatum takes a wide path around any sprinkler but our Aust. Shepherd, Stormie, will play in the sprinkler for HOURS at a time. But then she also runs like a demon around the yard biting the raindrops when it rains..... she loves water!

I know, it's crazy! Max doesn't HATE water, but he's not crazy about having a bath, and really doesn't like having me wash his face with the telescoping faucet thingy....but a sprinkler pops up, and he's all over it, LOL! I first noticed it with the hose though; I'd left it running to fill up a fountain in the yard, and the hose flipped out of the fountain....Max was in the back and I was doing something running in and out and when I came back out, he looked like a little drowned rat, rofl! I coudn't figure out if he'd gotten to the hose on purpose, or if the hose flipped out and got him. But after that, whenever I turned the hose on and was moving it over to the fountain, he'd be jumping trying to get his mouth on the water, and then he'd whine really loudly if I wouldn't let him in it! And heaven forbid I leave him in the house while I was filling the fountain! The whining was even louder! Crazy dog! He still does the thing with the hose too; if I"m filling up a watering can or anything, he is biting at the water flow from the hose and trying to get it in his mouth....I wonder what it is about it? But the sprinkler thing is really humorous, and would make a great video! The only video recorder I've got though, is my cellphone, heehee.....that might be worth a try!

LOL...that is funny. My dogs run when ever the sprinkler goes on.
