Yorkirose, Thank you so much for all the info. It is great to find knowledgeble breeders here able to answer all our questions. |
1 Attachment(s) Oh he is gorgeous!!! And I love his full name... Beau Britches!!! Too cute! His daughter was quite the little champ too... he was bred with the same lines that my little Bunny has to produce his beautiful winning little girl Billie! |
I once made him a fleece blankie of polartec that had Paddington bears on it..His mom is a good person. Both YorkieRose and I have dogs from same lines and she actually had him as a sire for one of her litters.. |
Beau Beau is a lovely boy. The BEAU STORY is a wow story. I have known Lauire for many years. She bought a couple puppies from me. She asked my advise about showing...and this is what I told her...buy the best bitch you can and go to the best champion you can find that compliments that bitch. I knew someone who had a nice bitch for sale...Lauire bought her and went to CH. Tiffnay's Storm Warning for stud service. Three males resulted. I docked the tails at 3 days and told her to come back at 8 weeks. At 8 weeks one guy knocked me over..he was so nice...I told her to come back at 12 weeks. At 12 weeks he was even better. So Lauire who had never entered the ring in her life named him Paddington's Beau Britches and stated showing him. Lauire took him to NY at 10 months ( I had the priviledge of going with her) Beau won the Sweeps, puppy classes, best puppy..and walked home with a ton of prizes. The rest is history..Lauire took him to the top and he was number one Yorkie in 2000. I bred him to my champion, Katherine and got a nice litter of 5..Charlotte was one of the girls. I also bred him to my girl, Nadine and got Ruby. Charlotte just had two girls on Saturday. Ruby's daughter just had a litter also. It is my favorite breeding and the genes love each other.. I want to say, Laurie deserves every win she gets...she was a novice who worked for it and it is wonderful to see a newbie with a great dog beat the pants off old timers... |
