OK for dogs and cat to drink from same water bowl? Britney and Brooklyn have two water bowls.. one in the kitchen and one in the bedroom. We just got a new kitten a few days ago, and while she has her own water bowl, she also likes to drink out of the kitchen water bowl. Is this OK? |
We have three cats and two dogs and they all drink out of the same (large) bowl and all are healthy! Kathy |
My cat and yorkies drink out of the same water bowl |
Toby the Cat has his own bowl, but he also drinks from Ozzie's. In fact, some nights I will find him laying in the kitchen floor with his paws wrapped around it. (I think it's one of his tactics to try and keep Ozzie out of it, the rotten little bugger.:D ) |
Mine all share water bowls and sometimes food bowls. The dogs like to steal the catfood. |
Should be just fine! :) |
I would think so. |
Yes it is fine :) Mine share everything. We are one big happy family :) |
With fosters included, I have 13 cats and 6 dogs, and they all share their water bowls. |

Yea all 3 dogs and 4 cats drink outta same bowl when I go visit my parents but Reeses is the only one I brought to Auburn with me so he gets his own bowl. ;) |
Just try and stop them from sharing bowls .. heh! |
I have a water bowl upstairs and one down. I have two cats and my yorkie and they all share water bowls. I have three bowls that I use for their food (the cats eat canned and raw and Lacy eats raw) so they share bowls...I clean them after every meal so that's not an issue. |
