What Does Your Yorkie Do to Get Your Attention???
 
Unless these little ones are sleeping or concentrated on their bully stick chewing, they want out attention!
What does your yorkie do then??? :rolleyes:
Bengi scraps the carpet with his paws, or makes a noise that's between a bark and a howl, or even taps my feet with his paws. Then when I look at him, he's sitting in front of me and the fetch toy is by my feet, "Mom can you play with meeeeee, pleaseeee!!!!!! :)

He's an ace at getting attention.....
 
My Higgins will usually "throw" one of his toys at me. Then, if I ignore him, he will give a slight whine, escalating to a bark if I don't respond. But the one way he can ALWAYS get me to play with him, or take him out, is to sit up like a little prairie dog right in front of me and tilt his little face from side to side. I mean, how can you possibly resist that? Huh? ;)

my babies get my attention real quick- when they get quiet.:) lol. if i am on my laptop- they will walk across it- telling me enough of yorkietalk-it is time for me. my newest addition, likes to get my attention, by biting on my toes- with his razor sharp teeth.yikes

Murfee paws the carpet too. We call him a little bull 'cause he looks like those bulls in the fighting ring. He also stands and barks at me and then runs to whatever he wants. No matter what he does, he always gets his point across:D

Chanel will stomp feet - talk - smile - whatever it takes - Cheri barks...but EACH knows how to get my attention QUICK

Buddy will bang me in the back of the leg with that faceless rubber clown
of his. He has sucked on it for three years and now it's faceless. It's his
baby and I get hit with it constantly and it's slimmy most of the time.:(

Or if I'm sitting watchng TV I swear he knows when it's 8:00 time for a nighttime treat. I will ignore him and he will sit up on his hind legs with
his front legs doing the swim and talks to me making this crazy growing noise telling me to get up and tend to him. Everynight, it never fails.
What a trip he is.:p

She'll do something similar to Buddy though - she walks behind me Whopping the back of my legs with the toy of the day ...like I don't know she's there LOL

Most of them bark at me but Trisket and Louie jump on my lap and grab me with thier paws. Kiley will grab ahold of my skirt or shirt and tug on it when she wants me to notice her. Allie nips at my feet until I get her attention.

He will bark like crazy. Put his paw on my leg. STAND on my feet. Whack me in the back of the leg with a toy -- or drop it at my feet or in my lap if I'm sitting.

And if all else fails, he will go into "wildman mode" and take his frustrations out on the nearest toy by shaking it like crazy for several minutes and then running through the house with it like a "wildman," occasionally stopping to beat it on the floor a few times for good measure.:p

Lexie gets a toy in her mouth and comes to sit by me and stares. If I ignore her she gets closer. If I still ignore her she gets in my lap and basically puts the toy in my face.

She gets her daddy's attention by basically "digging" at whatever body part she can reach of his.

"wildman mode" lol, that's too funny. Bengi shakes his toy sometimes too, i/m afraid he's going to break his neck with he does that!!!! it's incredible how much energy this little things can accumulate inside, huh!!!!!!!!!

uh I forgot! Bengi last resort is coming up to my face and kissing me all over till I'm all wet! and he won't let go till I pay attention to him! He know he can get away with that!!!! We refer to this method as the "Kiss Attack" :D

Bella will do a bark growl at me or come and and lay one me...she paws at me... OH and she will come up and sit on my laptop, if I am on YT to long...

Bunny will paw at me...jump around me and she will come up and close my laptop on my hands if I am on YT way to long lol....

I guess I am on YT to much huh lol

Seth keeps jumping at me or he goes to the bay door of the (EMS/Fire Building) and barks at the crew until they let him out to play with them. Sasha is my angel she is content to lay on a couch at EMS/Fire Building and just watch all of the action.
At home they both get on Jack or I's lap and just stare at us like OK "activities directors" get up and let's do something.

Kona makes little noises and then will put her nose under my hand so I will pet her.

Bernie loves to play, so he'll either grab a toy and bring it to me or he'll get on my lap and start giving me kisses.

Yeah. He does that a lot when he isn't trying to get my attention, too. I always feel SO sorry for the toys!:D

Wildman mode describes that crazy Yorkie speed-racing thing that so many of them do. You know to just clear out of the way until they're done.

With Ozzie being on the tubby side:eek: and now a sr. citizen to boot, I usually stop him once he starts panting. He's too crazy to stop himself most of the time!:)

The only time mine want my attention is to let them outside or if I'm at the computer they stand up and scratch on my arm or leg so they can sit with me. Other than that, they never do anything except not let me out of their sight. :p

Bowie sits and whimpers and scratches my feet. Raider does just about anything to get your attention. The girls just come and make you pet them sticking their heads under your hand.

Stedman - stares at me and BARKS. He will do this until I look at him and make him feel like he is the center of attention again :rolleyes:

Tatum - props both of her front paws up on my legs and just stands there and quitely stares at me. Sometimes turns her head sideways and looks at me like I'm nuts :)

I know what you mean... they can be sleeping like babies but the minute you get up they have to follow you and then they look at you with that bedhead face saying "hey, don'cha see I was sleeping! you have to watch me sleep! you can't get up and leave just like that!!!!! lol :D

Lol. Reeses does anything and everything he can to get my attention which never takes long. Lol. Sometimes I will pretend to ignore him just to see what all he will do. He will bark, growl, pounce at me, shove toys in my face, pull at the bed sheets if im on the bed otherwise just pulls at my shirt, he just absolutely goes crazy doing everything in the book to be cute and get my attention. He is always doing something new. lol.
