Step away from the box 2 Attachment(s) :rolleyes: Susanah is still learning how to share. 1.) Here she is telling everyone to leave her toys alone! 2.) Here she is looking sweet and innocent like she didn't just tell me off for getting too close to her toy box. *sigh* She has really got to get this sharing business down. Right now she is going through a MINE stage and it is no fun for anyone but her! |
She looks totally innocent to me! LOL! I just love the way yorkies bark with their little ears back and that too cute mouth!!!! How can you get upset with that???? :eek: :D |

Well, you DID buy them for HER, right???:) My suggestion if you are serious about having an issue, is to take them all away and then add one to play "with" her one on one and then slowly add more back until she has a "sharing" spirit!!!! :D I think there was one episode of dog whisperer that dealt with that MINE MINE toy issue!!!! Anybody else remember it? |
Its hard because it isn't always an issue.Most days she plays just fine and shares the toys with me and with everyone else. Then other days, like today, she runs around and gathers all the toys, sticks them all in or near the box and then DARES anyone to come near it. When she does this I usually just say, "Ok, since we can't share lets just put the toys away." Then put them up where she can't reach them. After about 15 minutes of her constant whining and jumping trying to get them I bring out one or two and she plays and shares nicely for about 20 - 30 minutes and then here we go again with the MINE. |
You mean she has to share HER toys? Mom, have you read the Yokie Property Rules? I don't have them handy, but maybe someone should post them for you. |
LOL I have seen those rules and have a copy somewhere! I swear they were written especially for my little poopanut! Unfortunately though, she is going to HAVE to share. I have other furkids that want to play too! Everyone has toys that were bought especially for them, but we have one community toy box and little miss Susanah Banana is under the impression that it is ALL HERS! |

love that sassy attitude! Emmy has it too! She had toys prior to Oscar arriving. We bought him and her both some new things, too. She never even played with most of what was here before. Now, since Oscar, arrived she is "THE KEEPER OF ALL TOYS"...To funny. The worst are the red kongs...Emmy loved hers, so I bought another one. Whenever I put treats in them and throw them on the floor, she takes off and grabs one--puts in on the couch--and then snatches the other and puts it on the couch. Oscar can't reach them. She jumps down and just parades around in front of him!!!!! |
