My mom met Susanah yesterday
 

I don't know who was more excited about who! Of course my mom had lots of treats with her (she knows how to bribe), but I think Susanah was genuinely happy to see her too.

She called my dad and told him to guess what she was holding. Apparently he couldn't figure it out because she proudly exclaimed, "Our new grandbaby!" and went on to describe her "cutest little nose" and "oh just wait til you see her little piggies" (piggies is our special word for feet - don't ask lol), "and her EYES, she has the prettiest eyes!", "Oh, James, just wait until you see her HAIR! It's so shiny and just an absolutely beautiful coat!". :rolleyes:

Then I got to listen to the typical mom stuff. "Do you warm her food? I hope so. She could get a tummy ache eating cold food. Where is she sleeping? Can she see you from there? You aren't letting her cry herself to sleep are you?" and it goes on and on and on!

I love my mom and I love the way she loves my furbabies!

And in case ya'll are wondering: Yes, I warm her food. She sleeps in her stroller that is pulled right next to my side of the bed. It is zipped so there is no way she can get/fall out. No, I don't let her cry herself to sleep. ;)

Mom's are great...that is really funny because although I have 2 yorkies, so does my daughter. When I talk to her (daily), the first thing I ask about are the "babies".

That's how moms are! It's great cuz they're the first ones to offer to doggiesit if we're goin away and leaving her behind.. Oh, and the way they SPOIL them! I usually give Daisy A treat, my mom gives her FIVE treats at one time!!!

Daisy has a little stomache and fills up easily..let me also add she usually never eats her food when I serve her...figure out the rest!

Your Mom sounds like one happy "Grandma"!

Just as much as you love her. But what about the grandchildren, had they grown, gotten a little skinnier or wider? Or did she not notice?:D

aren't grandma's just the best! my mom is head over heels in love with Layla! my parents are out of town and INSIST that i send them emails with pictures of what Layla has done during the day :) i love how the light up when they come home!! does your mom live far away or was it just the first time she has met her??? oh and i LOVE the name Susanah!!!

My mom lives 3 1/2 hours away and isn't in the best health.

This was the first time she saw Susanah in person, but I have been informed it won't be the last!

Thank you! Her name originally was going to be RosaBella Grace and we were going to call her Gracie-Belle. That name just didn't fit her at all. So we named her Scarlet Susanah Belle instead. We usually call her Susanah banana or Poopanut! lol Here lately, I think she thinks her name is "NO!" lol
