in heat ??? i was wondering how you know when they are no longer in heat? Troy went into heat, at least thats when i caught it, on June 13th. she only bleed for 2 days (i think) well shes been flaunting her little bootie in front of Walker and teasing the Lab next door. the Lab next door is not a problem... actually he is fuunny cause as Troy sits at the fence once she leaves he sticks his nose through the fence and just sits there!:eyetearss poor thing. but anyway Walker is going CRAZY tryin to get it. but hes not so bad if i watch him cause hes more trying to get my attention. but when i'm not watching hes locked up in the kitchen, more so he still doesn't get the whole potty training yet. so i was just wondering how much longer i must keep them separated. |
My girls are in heat for 3 to 4 weeks. I keep the males away for a full month just for safety. I know that is a long time, but I just want to be sure. When I want one pregnant, I mate them on day 8, 10, and 12. I hate the heats that I want to skip...the male whins, and the females just want to male. Good Luck! |
