I have wonderful news just got off the phone!!!!!!!!! Mitz and Molly have been adopted this morning and now have wonderful homes !:) :) :ghug:

Do we know anything more about them? Are they sisters, do they have any other health problems, are they spayed, how much do they weigh?

I went the shelters site and they don't have anymore info on them? It did say that it is $35 to adopt and the second adoption is $10 and they do come with the distemper shots.

WOW - only $45 :thumbup:

Yeah and I have read reports on my emails too so I'll know if they've read them and ignored them too.

omg what a great ending......I was getting ready to bump and wow didnt need to! ANyone know how to get the name of the person who adopted them?? Maybe we could make a care package??

What a great idea! Although I'd be shocked if the shelter would give out that information.

THANK YOU SO MUCH for the update! I was seriously considering taking a break from work so I can go outside and call my husband and PLED and BEG to my husband to please let me go and get them ASAP.

I really didn't know what to do, b/c I have 2 already and my family lives in AZ, so I do fly and that is the only thing that always put a hault on my (Yorkie) expanding, b/c there is NO way anyone would be going in cargo and there is NO way I am leaving anyone behind.

Oh THANK GOD - I am sure they went together - RIGHT???

Did you guys find out who took them ? They must have been so scared in that shelter but A+ for the efforts to break them out of death row !! Whooooo hoo - that's the best thing I've seen all day

Coming here first was great!!!! I had already called my Dad and he was ready to go pick them up :) I am so glad those babies found wonderful homes!!!

I really hope and pray they went together but the lady on the phone was not willing to give me any other info besides they where adopted this morning.

I am just seeing this thread and SOOOOO glad they got adopted! That would have been terrible having put them to sleep. I live in Georgia and I would have helped.

I hope they went together - it sounds like they may have if BOTH were just adopted. I can understand them not giving out personal info but they could have answered that one little question - I mean really - what's the harm in that ? :p

Well now that does a heart good to see a post like this. I love seeing happy endings and just look at the way all of the YT crew jumped on this to help out. Good job ladies this made my day as well.:thumbup:

I just read this thread! I'm only 2 hrs away from Harrallson County and I could've gone after them. I'm so glad they've been adopted.

I always check area newspapers (we get them all at work) to see if any yorkies have shown up in the local shelters.

What if ... we asked the shelter if they would ask the owners to LOG ON???:)

We could let the shelter know there are many people here grateful for the owners' actions and it's also good PR for the shelter. Anytime they get Yorkies, they should let us know!

Then maybe we could communicate directly with the owners ...

Oh thank heavens! I'm so glad these two little cuties got a home. It just wouldn't be right for them to be put down. :( Hopefully the did get a home together and most likely if they were both adopted at the same time, they did.
