I have my new baby..Chico aka Mr Green Jeans
 

Morning Everyone,
I just thought I would post an update for everyone. Well Yesterday my daughters and I drove to Montgomery to meet Chattiesmom and pick up Chico aka Mr GreenJeans. Cindy is such a sweetheart, it was a pleasure meeting her. She is really gonna miss Chico. She had all sorts of goodies packed for him to take to his new home. Chico's pics do not do him justice. He is so petite and has such a dark coat that is just as soft as silk!!!!!:D He did real good on the car ride home. I layed out the NapSak Cindy had made for him,he just curled up in it and slept the whole way. So far he has been real mellow up until we got hom and he meet my moms dog Feeberz, lol. He growled and barked at her but then she should know better than to get in his face, lol. That has been the only time we have heard his voice. He slept with me last night and was such a good boy. I woke up to find him asleep on his back, it was such a cute sight. He has explored the house some but doesnt go far out of my sight. He finally ate a few bites this morning, so that make me not worry so much. Tomorrow morning we are headed to Texas, so I wont be on the net as much. We are still waiting on our household goods but we have the necessities, so that is all the matters. I will post pics as soon as I can but it might not be til mid July. Hope everyone is having a nice and dry Tuesday(we are suppose to get rain).

Congrats!!! THey are such a joy. Especially when you bring them home, they will just look around, then if they get to far they will come running back to you. I wake up and Aubreys on my back, its soo cute.. Can't wait to see pics.

DanniBelle, Thank you for the update. I am so very glad that Chico had a good night -- and No, DanniBelle, I am not sad-i do miss him, terribly, there is a 3 lb. 14 ounce empty place in my heart, but how can I be sad when my baby has the best possible home I could ever hope for him to have?

Guys I have to add my side of the story:

DanniBelle has been incredible from the first time I pm'd her about her Chico. Chico was such a good boy on the ride to Montgomery (in my new Mini Cooper :D ). I was almost an hour late arriving at our rendezvous and she was so very patient. There was a ton of construction and a detour which left me lost :D. But when I saw DanniBelle's face and the smiles on her two beautiful daughters, I KNEW that Chico had finally found his forever family. I am so happy that we were able to meet -- they are such a lovely family. And to top it all off, I will get to watch little Chico grow up! Isn't that the greatest?

Have a safe drive home tomorrow......
