Who said that?!? I can't believe what came out of my bf's mouth yesterday! We were talking about how we can't wait to have a huge house and I said "Yea so I can have tons of room and get tons of yorkies" :D And he said" Yeah I actually want to have like 4 or 5". I was like what?!? This coming from a guy that never had a dog before in his life! I got him soo addicted to yorkies!!! hehe :p He loves Teddy and London! |
He's a    keeper!!! With two gorgeous babies like yours, I'm not surprised that he wants more:D |
They can win over just about anyone!!!! |
He is def. a keeper! My husband hated little dogs and said Yorkies were ugly but after Tilly he admits to liking them. I wouldn't say he would want very many though....darn! |
awwww that's great! My hubby didn't want to get a small dog, but he sure does love Jake! He spoils him as much as I do, and I know he will spoil little Lily too:) |
your so lucky !! i would get on a waiting list now for a great breeder !! |
Aww!!! I bet he's a sweetheart and a gentleman who's very secure of his masculinity. ;) My husband had a rottweiler before we got Daisy. Infact, Daisy was my bday gift last year--from my husband! ((I'm TOTALLY not a big dog kinda girl)) He wasnt crazy about them samll dog either,, until he saw Daisy's lil face. :) I think what even cuter is when HE takes Daisy out either for walks or to the supermarket in her little pink carrier without a mind in the world. :D |
WOW!! Thats good. Im begging mine to let me get another one... I'll be able to get one someday.. |

If all men were so sweet as ours. We have three that are just in love with their dad. When he comes home it is comical to watch their welcome home...like he has been gone for a week!! |
What a man!!! I've never asked for more then one at a time...I love having an only puppy...But I don't think he'd turn me down, he loves them as much as I do...he's hooked, it'll be yorkies at my house forever...but most likely one at a time. |
You know, it's funny. I didn't think I wanted a Yorkie either....NOT that I really knew ANYTHING about them, even what they really looked like. But for some reason, I had it in my mind (I was not a dog person, obviously) that they were the yappy type of little dogs. And even if they might be cute, I had parrots that screamed on a pretty regular basis, so I was pretty sure I didnt' need anything else making more noise. But when I started losing my birds, my neighbor who had a friend who had Yorkie puppies ready to go, wanted me to come over to look at them, b/c she thought it might help me get over losing my birds....I thought...."ahhhhh...I don't want a Yorkie"....but I got home just as one of her other friends was leaving her house and she saw me pull in, and she came over and told me "you HAVE to go see those puppies".....and I thought "Oh crap....now I dont' have any excuse not to"....so I went....with the thought in my mind the entire time "I don't want a dog right now, I don't need a dog right now, I don't know anything about dogs, I don't want a Yorkie and dh isn't going to buy me one anyway".....seriously..that's what was going thru my head when I walked into the house. I get to the kitchen, where they've got the dogs, and I see Max, and all I could think of was "OH MY GOD.....he is the CUTEST thing I've ever seen in my life...how am I going to talk dh into it????", rofl.....really, that's how fast it happened. How can anyone NOT see how sweet and precious they are? And my dh said OK, but I think he was a little hestitant.....however, he would DIE if anything happened to Max~! He calls everyday when he's gone and I know his main concern is "how is Max doing?"....he just adores him! Neither of us can even imagine living without such a dear little dog, and you know what? I always thought if I did get a dog, I wanted a BIG dog (I do love German Shepards and Great Danes, but it's really impractical here), but now, I am SO glad I got a little guy.....so easy to take care of...portable, little poops (I'm sorry, but I see those gigantic poops that other people leave on the street and I guess I know why....the thought of having to pick them up in a bag grosses me out, and I'm an ICU nurse:eek: )...... So, now I'm working on getting another Yorkie, LOL.....I'm counting on the meetup in July to help convince dh, so if you're going and you've got more than one, be sure to point out all the great things about having more than one to my dh, LOL! I figure you just multiply your joy and love by as many as you're lucky enough to have:love:   |
Thanks!!! Im def. going to try and get it. Its soo cute. |
if my hubby said that, i would check his temp :) glad your man is loving these babies...what's not to love?!?!?!?! :) |
That's awesome!!! Don't let this one go! |
I told my boyfriend that we will be getting more yorkies lol and he said thats fine as long as they are calm cuz Armani is crazy dog lol.. tons of energy and just like me, I think my boyfriend feels ganged up on haha :) |
My boyfriend loves the baby. (not sure what DH is) And she loves him. Its like I am not there when he is. They play together and she jumps up and sits on his shoulder and gives him tons of kisses. If he moves she moves. If he goes to the potty she is right there at the door till he comes out. I may as well go shopping, she could care less where mom is when daddy is around. He is such a big macho guy i never thought he would be so good with such a little pup, but he got her for me and has been in love with her since he put her in the car to bring her home. He said we can definatly get a baby brother or sister for Britain. I hope its soon :) |
