*sigh* feeling kinda sad today 1 Attachment(s) I was going through all of layla's dresses that used to fit her last year... octoberish... and they don't fit anymore... and i'm reminded that she isn't a puppy anymore.. and it has made me so sad!! she looks like a puppy and acts like a puppy, but when the clothes don't fit it is a reminder that she is growing up :( i'm so happy that someone else will get to enjoy the clothes as much as we have, but i feel sad that she won't get to wear them again :( hopefully i'm not the only one feeling this way... God i can't imagine how sad it is to watch a SKIN KID grow up. Just needed to share today. Just a picture of Lay as a puppy :) |
I know the feeling. I have shirts from when I first got Conner at 10 weeks old. They are so tiny, and he never wore them because he hated shirts when he was a puppy. He tolerates them now for mama. I am thinking when the clothing does not fit anymore, it's time to get another furbaby!! |
I ran across one of Ozzie's old T-shirts (Flea Market Inspector) from when he was a pup. He couldn't get his rump in it now! He just turned 10 so I, too, have been lamenting about how quickly the time has gone. I just hope I get to keep him for a good while longer still!:) |

oh what an absolute darling she was when she was little but then Layla has grown into a gorgeous young lady. . . so you must be so proud. I know what you mean about growing up . . . Annika just came from the vet last saturday and now she weighs a whopping 5 pounds :) It's gotta be all that hair :p maybe :rolleyes: hugs to Layla :animal-pa |

Awww Layla is a doll....Its hard watching them grow up and my two skin kids are 23 & 21, it just seems like yesterday they were 3 & 4...its like you blink your eyes and they are grown...Peanut grew up with them now he is 10 and it only seems like yesterday I got him...But Layla is a beautiful little girl now...:) |
Awwwwww Layla is so sweet :) I know, I can't believe Simon will be 4 this year. It makes me sad too, especially when I think of Hallie turning 6!!!!! Layla sure had grown up to be a BEAUTIFUL baby girl, Simon says so :) |
I know how you feel. I've doing a slideshow yesterday of Bengi's pictures and seeing again those puppy pics made me cry! my baby is not a puppy anymore :( but he's still a puppy to me! :) By the way, that pictures is adorable, she looks like a little bear :) |

wow...isn't it funny how they grow in size but also how the personality changes as they get older?? Nathan now will not go to the bathroom in his playpen at all!!! :) and since his first visit to the groomers, for some reason he now allows me to give him a topknot!! mind you the day before he was fighting me tooth and nail!!! :) He now thinks he is my protector for real because anyone coming to the door he barks like crazy and only calms down when i tell him its okay!! :) lol Sounds like Yt members need to have a online clothing sale between members!! :) lol |
i have to admit, i have never bought any clothes for my babies but i do love love love them. i can still feel your sadness. we just love our babies so much |

Missing my deedee and terry! I know how you feel. my two babies, dee dee and terry are growing up and i cant even see them grow up! they with my dad at the moment and i live in Bloemfontein, RSA. i live in a student house where they dont allow animals!!!! its terrible :) |

AWWW, she is so pretty! I know how you feel....my little Bella is only 11 weeks, but I don't want her to grow up. ...but at the same time, I can't wait to see what she will look like when she is older! She is my first baby, and now I can not possibly imagine life without a yorkie! Layla still has that adorable little "puppy face" though :) |
I feel ya...this weekend, I realized Zoe's harness no longer fit her. I bought it 4 months ago, never had a chance to wear it and she is too tubby for them now. They sure are precious aren't they? I completely remember the day we took her home at 12 weeks, what a great day. |
