U might hear about on the news.. Crazy dog owner fights fox with bare hands :) |
There is a woods behind my house, I always check the entire yard (it's fenced in) and make sure the gate is shut every time I let mine in the yard. I'm such a freak, I won't leave them by theirselves for even a minute. If I have to come in for something, so do they. But luckily, I spend a lot of time in the back yard so they get plenty of exercise. Hey tatiana, I could use some new fox fur house slippers!! just kidding everyone!!! |
hahahahaha FOX FUR SLIPPERS!! now that cracked me up.. |

Scary. I live basically in the woods in a very rural area. We have foxes, bobcats, lots of hawks. Needless to say, Lexie's time outside is very limited and very supervised. I found this on Wikipedia "Unlike many canids, foxes are usually not pack animals. Typically, they are solitary, opportunistic feeders that hunt live prey (especially rodents). Using a pouncing technique practiced from an early age, they are usually able to kill their prey quickly. Foxes also gather a wide variety of other foods ranging from grasshoppers to fruit and berries." |
Also, if a fox is doing anything out of the ordinary, it could have rabies. |
I found this for you. Please dont kill the fox he is just tring to live. http://www.aaanimalcontrol.com/Profe.../CO-Denver.htm hope that helps. |
