We are making something for Papi have a ? Hi Yorkie Family, Jack and I are making something for Papi and we are needing some help, how can we get the names of the YT'ers that have posted to the thread which Elaine started on Lori and Bre's travel to PA? We have made a throw for Papi on one side it has the " Footprints In The Sand " it is turning out beautiful, we also would like to write with the fabric pen all the YT'ers that posted to that thread, thanks so much to Jack helping me with doing this, he has been such a great help. On the back side (using the white fabric pen) we will be putting the poem I wrote: Papi Train, HAPPY Train Papi train, HAPPY train we've traveled far, Across the USA to where we are. From my birthplace in Kansas, from my Mommies loving arms, Lori, Bre and I traveled beautiful country, and seen many farms. My farm left in Kansas was so special you see, My Brenda Mommie she'll always be. We met so many people at Elaines, oh what a delight, Snuggling, cozying up with little Bre at night. My forever home in this life with Papi is a new start, I'll be his shadow, we'll not be apart. God placed me here for one reason I know, Being Papi's PattiCake will make his face glow. Oh what fun is in store today, Oh my goodness, we'll romp and play. No more sadness on Papi's face, All because of the love from the human race. I promise my Brenda Mommie, right from the start, Forever to remember her love, she will remain in my heart. Thank you God for the travels afar, You are MY HERO and My BRIGHT GUIDING STAR. Please guide and protect Lori and Bre on their way, Back home to Nebraska across this Great USA, I pray. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ After it is finished we will post a picture here for all to see. Yorkie Shadow, sure wish I could do the lovely Train picture you made and put the poem inside of it :) Thanks, from the both of us, Jack and Patti |
Test fabric took the ink pen poorly. The marker pens didn't do go on the practice fabric so we won't get to do the names and the poem after all :( sure had hopes that it would. Patti and Jack |
It was a great idea, sorry it didn't work out to well. He's still going to love it though...it's from your heart to his. |
patti and jack, what a wonderful idea on the throw with the names, here's a suggestion I thought of, type out all the names, print it, then scan into computer, then use transfer paper that you use for putting on a t-shirt to iron on the throw. I did this with JD's picture to a tshirt, turned out nice.. just thinking, let me know if I can help you in any way... P.S. I picked up the transfer paper in drugstore, then rest all done by computer.. |
Well, we're back in California, and I am just so happy to see that our Papi is recovering!!!! Papi, your YT family are right here, waiting for you, for the day you feel well enough to be on your computer, and catch up with all of us! I cannot begin to imagine what you have endured, but please know that you are on my mind constantly. Patti, your little DollieDae sounds too adorable for words. The way you describe her bedtime ritual is just way too cute. What a wonderful thing you are doing in making that throw for Papi. Your poetry, as always is so touching. I do think that GPONTLITZ has a great idea for transferring those names. I am going up to Los Angeles today, as my nephew has just become the proud Daddy to a little baby girl, and will be back in a couple of days. Hopefully by then, I will see Papi's first message here. With much love to all, Lauren:hearts-xx |
Papi, 1 Attachment(s) Good Morning Papi, hope you feel all the prayers going for you from so many here from YT, we do hope you will soon be back posting. Lauren it is so good to see you back, hope that your trip to Europe was every bit of what you had longed for it to be. Thanks for the suggestion GPONTLITZ sounds great, but I can't manage to get all the names and not able to use my printer or scanner :( the one fabric to be ironed on is a polyester, not sure it would even take it. Baby Blessing and DollieDae send many of their healing kisses to you Papi. It has now been 17 days so we pray that all is going okay, that your check ups are showing everything exactly as the Dr.s want it to be. Sending hugs to PattiCake. As your daughter had said, PattiCake was being her adorable little self, she sure sounds a lot like her, Daddy Deucy. We keep in close touch with our friend Brenda and she recently sent pictures of Deucy. Papi, we are including a recent picture of Brenda's Deucy, isn't he absolutely gorgeous. I hear Sadie is also, so PattiCake can't help but be sooooo adorable. Hurry back aboard Papi, this Choo Choo can't keep chugging along without you. We know you haven't been on the computer at all but hope soon you will be able to be back aboard and we will all be here joining in with you. From the two of us, Jack and Patti |
Papi, hope you are recovering well.Sending hugs and kisses, Sheila and Ellie |
Papi and PattiCake Dear Papi, I have been remiss in posting and I apologize for that. Even though I haven't been posting you have been in my thoughts and prayers everyday. I hope that things are going well and you are feeling stronger everyday. I can't wait to see you back online. Miss you lots Papi. Take care of yourself and little Patticake. ps: I have a new little addition to show you when you come back online. Her name is Gabrielle but I call her Gabby, she is 10 weeks old and cute as a button of course I am biased. Hugs, Jay:) |
Papi I miss you too...please get well and come back to your friends at YT. Hugs and more hugs!!! |
Good morning Papi and Patticakes, Is a lovely day here in Maryland, enough rain that my grass has turned green again.. JD hates the rain and snow, I nearly have to pull him on his leash, out the door, once he see's what going on outside..it's head back to that bed and hide out.. The holiday is coming up Monday and a real treat my work is closed both Sat. and Monday. I snuck in Friday so I'll feel like a real vacation is going on for me, can't wait!! My Sister and nieces, and grandniece are all getting together to take me to Lunch on Saturday.. that's a real treat too, that we all can meet in these busy times we live in. I thought about your daughters and grandchild helping you these past two weeks, FAMILY, that says it all. What would we do without the love we share for one another... Papi, how is that Patticakes doing, I just can't wait to see how she's changed in the last month in pictures from you. I hope you'll suprise us by posting REAL soon, we love and miss you.. Have a wonderful day and Holiday, give Patticakes a kiss from me.. |
