I definitely don't see any poodle in him. He's probably just a larger yorkie. The only other thing he might possibly be is part silky terrier...a lot of people don't know the difference between the two and often now the two are mixed and the puppies are sold as Yorkies. I have seen a couple "yorkies" before that I was positive were actually silkies...sometimes I can't easily tell you one way or another but sometimes it is very obvious. Most likely you have a yorkie that is just going to be larger than the standard. |
He is a gorgeous 100 % Yorkie!! You are sooo lucky...I WANT a big Yorkie if I ever get another one. I will probably be the only one asking the breeder for a large puppy...hehe |
Don't get upset... I think the Vet was joking when he/she said your furbaby was a poodle/york mix... ;) Harlem looks ALL yorkie to me!!! :) And he is very cute...:aimeeyork :) |
Thanks for all the support. It really feels good cause I was kinda out there for a moment. I will go back to see Harlem for the 4th an I will let you know what he weighs at that point. I guess, it doesn't really matter though because he's still my big baby! I love him and he is so happy to see me everytime I come home, it's unbelieveable how much he misses me. I can't get him to calm down at all. But again, you have know idea how much this support form you guys mean. Thanks! |

I'm not sure which part of Harlem your vet thinks is poodle, but it sure isn't the outside of him. He looks 100% yorkie and absolutely adorable. You should be very proud of him:) . I love the name, too. |
