Puppy noises Ya'll will probably think I am insane! Oscar makes these funny little noises when you pick him up, when you rub him or scratch him...it is like he is going "uh, uh, uh"...it does not sound like a wimper more like a little grunt. And it does not sound like it is pain motivated either. Maybe it is his happy sound! :D It is so cute and he does it a lot! Anybody else notice this in their yorkie? My hubby says he is trying to talk to us! :p Maybe he is! http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/4...57c80000001610 |
There doesn't appear to anything wrong with Oscar in the lovely photo!! He's a real cutie!! I was just going to say that he may be trying to talk to you!! There is a dog down the road that does this and she is about 5 yrs old - my girls always rush to her garden fence and go and say hello and when I get there she kisses me and makes these little wimpering sounds, she's gorgeous!! Sure Oscar is a "talker" !! You'd know if there was something wrong I'm quite sure? Enjoy him! |
Oscar's Mom!!! Thank goodness someone else knows what Toto does!! I totally know what your're talking about ... it's almost a tiny little newborn infant sound that human babies make? It's the most adorable thing I think I have ever heard and just melts our hearts! :) AND ... Toto tries soooo hard to talk to us ... will sit up with her little paws out and if you don't stop your conversation and speak to her, her little voice justs gets more insistent!! If you don't stop and "talk" with her, she reaches out with one of her paws and touches you! So glad someone understands!! ;) |
That is exactly what it sounds like! Like a baby...I have even heard puppies and babies making that noise when they nurse. It sounds like a happy sound. We have to go back to the vet on Monday to get the stool checked again and I will ask him about it then. Also, he needs his second shot...the breeder said no leptospira in the shot...it that what you guys do? I think she said no leptospria til 6 months? Surely the vet will know what he needs. We are not at home though...we have been in Florida for two months working hurricane claims. We went to a vet that was recommended by the campground where we are staying. He was good at diagnosing the coccidia, maybe he knows his stuff on the shots as well. |
