I was just taking a bubble bath and Tucker jumped in with me and started eating the bubbles and I think he dranks some of the soapy water before I could stop him!!! What should I do? Will he get terribly sick? Help!

I doubt it since they all get some soap in their mouths when you give them baths. Keep an eye on him.

I don't think so, but that's so cute that he did that. My 2 pups and 2 cats all like to drink soapy water:rolleyes: . The pups also lick my feet and legs after I get out of the shower, and forget it if I put on lotion - they can't lick fast enough! UGH, it must taste nasty, but, then, they do eat poop;) .

Oh I think he'll be ok. I quit taking baths b/c Hallie always jumped in like she was saving my life :) She always ate some bubbles but never got sick.

That is too funny! My dog licks my legs and feet after a shower or bath. Anyone know why they do that? Inquiring minds want to know!

Thanks ladies! He's sleeping like a baby now so I guess he isn't too affected. It's funny because when it's his bath time, he's not a big fan of the tub but when it's my bath time he acts like he's missing all the fun and jumps right in and gets cozy! :) He also licks the water from my feet and legs when I get out of the shower and lotion, too! They are silly little guys! :D

I have no clue why they like the taste of the things they do, but thank goodnes our tastebuds are a little more refined;) .

I dont know either, but my guess is that after sniffing butts the way they do tasting our feet and lotion must be a whole lot better,hahahaha.

awww how cute! my peanut cant get away from me fast enough when i have lotion on haha. he buries his head into the sofa or blanket to get rid of the smell lol. then he rolls over. poor boy, i think he's allergic
