Murdered little Chi and her best friend Ty, the great dane.

Our loving, young pet Mimi, a very small, chi was murdered by a man named Frank on Tuesday afternoon. Frank took our little dog and slit her throat then threw her over his back fence. Thanks to the excellent, diligent work of the Novato Police Department, Frank was arrrested and is in jail with a over $100,000 bail. This man took the life of our family member, a dog that gave nothing but love to all that she met. She made our family laugh everyday with her antics. Her best friend was Ty the big black Great Dane, who is now moping around the house looking for his little friend.

We are devasted. We have two six year old children that had to be witness to one of the cruelsist occurances that could ever happen in anybody's life. What to do, how could he. I cryed all night, reliving the thoughts of Mimi's last moments. Struggling for her life in the hands of this mad man, a three pound chi in the grasp of a six foot three monster, slicing her throat. IT'NOT FAIR, IT'S NOT FAIR, IT'S NOT FAIR... and his wife just looks at us in court not a I'm sorry or a outreach of kind eyes. I want to move, I want justice for our little Mimi, I want this guy to get the worst punishment possible. I had to spend my kid's last day's in Kindergarten crying, talking to police, sitting in court, praying to God for something good to come out of this bizarre tragedy.

A nice neighborhood, Kenwood Court, our little dream house only lived in for months now, tainted and filled willth fear. What is he capable of next, restraining orders, we look out at this persons house from every window and door in our home. I knew he had the dog, he taunted me when my children and I asked if he had seen her. He should be listed as a predator, just like sex offenders. Is any one safe anymore?

The Marin I.J., kind people, interviewed us today. Uncomfortable and blown away by this incident of neighborly rage. All over a broken mailbox. The article will be in tomorrows paper.

When I found my dog with her throat cut, ants crawling on her body, blood coming out of her ears, my belief in human kindness died. Who is this man, a vietnam vet, dying from some diseae, not on his meds, whatever reason, this is a sick person who does not belong in our society.

This is an extremely sad story. How could anyone do such things to a harmless animal that gives nothing but love?

:mad: I can NOT stand animal cruelty! it drives me insane!:mad: i signed the petition and put a little message in there! i dont care who the heck you are or where you come from but ANY cruelty towards any living creature is WRONG!!!! I will do anything in my power to stop it, for as long as i am on this planet! Grrrr i hope that man rotts in jail or something or gets eaten by a grizzly bear! that poor little helpless baby. Grrrr i get so angry and upset when i hear stories like these.:unlove:

I had the same experience with 3 of my cats. I know what that lady meant when she said that she wonders what the last moments of her baby's life were like...there are some sick people out there. :( :mad:

That is sad and sick. How can someone do that to an innocent animal, and I agree there is alot of sick people out there. I remember when one of our old cats had kittens we gave one to my grandmas friends across the street &a few months later we asked if they still had it and he said no that they took it into the woods and shot it because the cat peed on the carpet. I was so pissed:mad: sorry about writting about my story
