Why No Kisses For Me????
 
Okay..... I can already hear the comments burning in my ears, so here goes. Simba very seldom gives me kisses. When he see my husband, daughter, strangers.etc. he gives them 'doggy facials' until they can't breathe anymore! The only time he gives me a quick kiss is when I'm eating something that he's interested in having a taste of. I'm the one he's bonded to. When I leave the room, nothing much matters until I return. He follows me everywhere. When someone else is holding him, he can't wait to get back into my arms, etc. I'm the one that does everything with him, and for him, all day long. I don't have a bad breathe problem, at least my my husband says I don't! I don't think I do, either. He thinks it's real funny, ha ha! I would love to hear everyone's comments on this...

Simon just started kissing me and he's 3! He would slobber all over everyone else but never cared much for kissing me, his mama!

But now he's super kisser and I can't get him to stop :)

Mine is 16 months old and I never got a kiss from him. He only likes to kiss my son to get a taste of what he (son) was eating

Hahaha I need someone to tell my girls when to STOP kissing.....they don't kiss others but me...holy cow - they can go on forever...Chanel thinks she's my Dentist and Cheri thinks it's big fun to lick eyeballs

Hmmm this one is a tough question cause at least if your baby wasn't kissing others, then you could just say he's not a kissy dog, but clearly he is. Have you ever reacted weird when he has kissed you like maybe surprised, but he thought he did something wrong? Try putting some jam on your lips and he'll lick it right off, then he'll always be giving you kisses in hopes of tasting more jam..lol..sorry if this isn't helpful but he sure is playing hard to get..lol...I'm with V, how do you get mine to STOP..lol

My two slobber all over their Daddy and Grandma but they know Momma only likes little kisses so that's what they do:)

I feel the same way....Sami never gives me kisses, but he will give my husband kisses and I'm the one that is home with Sami all day. Now my daughters yorkie is very kissy kissy with me.

Don't feel bad. My little Alphy loves me and I'm definately his however, very rarely do I get kissies. My friend however, Alphy is all over him and would wash his face all day long if allowed.

my little girl loves giving kisses, but she knows that my boyfriend DOESN'T like them. so she seems to never try to give him one unless shes happy to see him. or a little over excited:) she doesnt kiss anyone else besides us though.

Hmm, I guess it might have to do with the fact that kisses might sometimes mean different things to dogs and humans. Do wild dogs give kisses to the alpha dog?...For that matter, do they give kisses at all? :confused:
