Boarding in Houston
 
Hello everyone,
I am currently working in Houston (west side) for a few months. I will fly home occasionally (southwest does not accept pets which stinks! and continental only 1 per passenger) and the rest of the airline prices are insane for a 1 hour trip. So do any of ya'll nice people in Houston know a great boarding place for my babies? Thanks for the help.

I do...When I moved once I had them keep my 2 cockers for a day only - it's my vets office and they have a playroom and take very good care of them -they're on the West side - in Sugar Land. How long do you need to board ?? I'm a very good babysitter :)

LOL ! of course....I'd have to check with my husband first - I don't know if you know he's ill, but I can ask :)

and my Vet in Sugar Land is so good that I drive back to there for all the girls vet visits - even though I have a bunch near my house I just like them that much and trust them with my girls more than I trust any other vet

Oh, I did not know he was ill. I'm sorry to hear that. If it is too much trouble, don't worry about it. I am going just for the weekend. Can you give me the name of your vet?

oh girl - the weekend is NO TROUBLE - I didn't know if it was going to be a few months and that's why I said I need to ask him - a weekend is no biggie at all and I bet my girls would love it....

So you can think about it - and I'll pm you my vets info but I'd be more than happy to keep them here with us ....they'd have a blast in the yard and have 5 beds to choose from :D never had a flea in the house and I have PLENTY of shampoo lol - (in case it rains)

I will !! I just told my husband and he's A OK with it - so the girls are going to have a sleepover party !!

Whoo - hoo....and Nikki - we can celebrate Cheri's birthday too :yorkiesar your little guys will have fun spying on my neighbors with the girls and it'll be really good for mine to have company for a few days -this works out really well doesn't it ?

I'm excited !! My girls need to have some little friends lol - they're SO Velcro - and my husband is excited too ....well as much as he can muster up with the tubes on his face lol - he said it'll be great to have some buddies for the girls to play with too. I bet they start off shy and become good friends in no time

I always have a hard time finding the right place to board mine as well. I just can't trust these little places that are opening everywhere in NW Houston.

Here's my vets place - these people are the nicest around ...I've been going for years - http://www.sugarlandvets.com/ I 've referred family and friends to them and everyone who goes loves them.

IF I had to board - I'd trust them but no one else around me...It would be worth it to you as you can hop right on 59 and take the Hwy 6 exit straight to his place..they have pictures of the facility - the outside looks just like a beautiful house.
