I'm doggie sitting for a YT member...this is SOOOOOOO fun!!!
 

"yorkiesmiles" just brought her 2 yorkies, Bubba and Roxy over for a couple of hours while she is at church. She is in town and needed someone to watch the babies for a couple of hours and I am so blessed to be able to do this. They are both VERY sweet!! I have taken a bunch of pictures but will wait until I have her permission to post them :) But this is so much fun. I feel horrible because I honestly forgot for a minute that I was doing it :) I actually remembered this morning and checked to see if I had an email or something and there was nothing...then I got outside and started doing some yard work and this car pulls in. Hubby is like "do you know who that is??". Then I saw a yorkie in the car and remembered HAHA. but it's ok...I feel bad because I am a total mess, have not showered yet, and am wearing the t-shirt I wore to my bachelorette party that says "I look better naked" HAHA. not a good first impression but that's ok :) My doggies are having a blast having 2 newbies in the house. Poor Roxy is not sure what to think but she is doing great...staying close to Bubba and finding a cozy corner of the couch to rest in. Maggie just wants to play and play and play :) They are both very good dogs. You can tell they are very much loved. This just warms my heart.

Thanks "yorkiesmiles" for giving me this opportunity. As hubby says "this is a dream come true for you...a house full of dogs" LOL

i am noticing how much roxy loves her bubba. She was sitting on the chair by herself and bubba wanted to go explore. He ended up finding a cozy place on a blanket on the couch (which is also maggie's favorite sleepy spot) and roxy stood up and was just wanting so bad to join him. So I took her over to him and she just snuggled up so close to him. It is so sweet. I can't help but wonder if they act like this at home or if it is just because they are in a strange place without mommy. Either way, it is very sweet.

How fun! I have 2 friends that leave their babies with me when they travel.. One is coming next week. They have so much fun together. Sounds like your gonna have a great playdate!!

oh...I want SOOOO bad to post some pics :) but I want to make sure I have her permission first :)

thank you!!! We got it from Rooms to Go. we love it. It is soooooooooo comfy and very roomy. We have people over all the time and we never have to worry about people not having enough room. And the chair is a perfect cuddle chair :) hubby and I can fit on it wonderfully, we like to cuddle and watch movies there :)

yes, we had a great day with the pups. They are truly very sweet. I kinda miss them already :) I get very attached very quickly :) I am blessed to have met them.

We had a crazy few days in Nashville and the dogs boarded at Pet Resorts of America (sounds like a chain, but I could only find one with that name) while my daughter and I went through orientation at Vanderbilt. The dogs did well at the Pet Resort, and we made it back home to Des Moines - but it was with the help of pepe mint & her beautiful daughter and 3 welcoming dogs, and a very understanding husband that made this trip great!!:bravo: :bravo:

What fun - and my dogs seemed to switch roles at pepe mint's house - Bubba usually the lazy one and Roxie is on the go - but they were loved and cared for just the same by pepe mint:thumbs up

i know you had a blast!! You would have loved it then where I was last week!! :) house and yorkie sitting for my breeders 6 Yorkies plus mine!! :) She went out of town on vacation for the first time leaving her babies at home with someone other than a family member!! I felt honored that she trusted me to do that and we had a blast!! Nathan got a chance to spend a week with his Mom, Dad and half brother!!!
