Puppy Pet Peaves
 

My puppy Zack's pet peaves,

~ baths (or being in or around water)

~ being brushed/groomed

~ placed on his back

~ riding in a car

~ going to the vet

~ not being allowed to eat my shoes and underwear

~ being told "NO!"

~ being told "it's bedtime"

~ and me being the boss!

Please tell me I'm not the only one with a difficult furbaby!

Hee.

Tucker's pet peeves are:

Having his bum-bum wiped (sorry - it has to be done!!)

Getting brushed

Running out of food

Having his eye boogies removed


Biddy's pet peeve:

Oh yeah, I forgot about eye boogie removal. He hates that too.

I think he hates more things than he likes...I hope this is just a stage or I'm going to go nuts! :D

Yoda's pet peeves are:

Toothbrushing time, Mom and Dad NOT getting a toy off the couch/counter/bed for him, and when we finally say STOP! after he licks us for 5 mins straight... :)

Sophie's pet peeves are naptime. She will resist all naps until she literally drops.

She hates having her teeth brushed.

She hates hairbows.

All of the above!!

Simon's new pet peeve is Hallie!

Coco's pet peeves are basically anything other than playing..but here are a few
Not being allowed to chew me up
baths
time outs
tooth brushing
not being able to steal socks, bras and underwear
wearing pj's
wearing bows
being repeatedly put on wee wee pads
hearing NO!
not being the boss
not being able to jump off the bed/couch
me putting on makeup, especially mascara
fixing my hair

Well Jeremiah doesn't like naptime very much

Or me saying no when he doesn't something bad

Or me getting him off the ledge of my couch when he tries to jump off

Or me stopping him when he is trying to get his freak on with Jane.

There are a lot more but those are the main few.... :rolleyes:....LOL

Stomper's does not like:

1) to get a bath
2) being brushed (even if I give him treats)
3) when I remove his eye boogies with a damp cotton ball
4) when his ball goes under the couch and he can't get it
5) the vet
6) when I am in an area he can't be (i.e. the bathroom, he is outside and can't come in, etc.)
7) When we have him do too many tricks at one time - he is like "come on...enough is enough mom, just give me the treat!" :animal-sm

Schatzie's....

Not giving her my human food (sometimes it's just too good to share)

Not allowing her to follow me out the sliding glass door onto the deck.

Holding Annabelle - OMG she freaks!! God forbid I give anybody else attention!

Sitting next to me on the couch, drops a toy and barks/growls cuz I wont pick it up for her. (she's too darn lazy to get off the couch, pick it up then get back onto the couch, ugh!! No wonder she's 8.1 pounds. I should have called her "couch potatoe".

Having her breeder babysit her. (pouts and goes on a hunger strike)

Practicing top knot bows on her.

Dressing her up at times.

Not taking her with me when I leave.

Not allowing her to bath with me (believe me, it's true!)

Wiping her face after meals (you'd think she was dying)

Maggie is getting an early start on her pet peeves, at only 14 weeks old.

1. Playmate won't come out of the floor mirror. She has another playmate in the curio cabinet mirror too.

2. Can't run the fence line with the big dogs.

3. Is not allowed to jump frogs in the middle of the night, when she is suppose to be PPing.

4. Get ticked if one of our heelers gets to the ball of frisbie first.

5. Don't pick up her toys at night, until she crashes out.

6. She really gets ticked when I won't allow her to drink from the Koi ponds like the big dogs.

Other than that, she thinks she is a big dog. We allow it to a limit, but still have to keep her under wraps for her own protection.

This is a funny thread! Ok, Bo's pet peeves are:
1. When Woody won't play.
2. Getting brushed.
3. Baths, duh!
4. When mommy says he can't go out and play basketball when he hears daddy outside.
5. When mommy says "No bite!", cause mommy really likes her hand and would like to keep it for awhile!
6. The dark...sheesh!
7. His biggest pet peeve is being anywhere except outside!!

Oscar's:
-having his teeth brushed
-having his toys moved
-having my underwear, socks, bras taken away from him
-giving my other dog treats--he just doesn't think it should happen
-sleeping in bed with me--he's growing up now and he'll sleep on the floor with the big dog, thank you very much... :)

Bellas pet peeve: Me not spending every single second of my waking life doting hand and foot on her! :p

The boys
 

The boys pet peeves are:

Benni - hates a bath
hates the brush and hides under the bed for hours waiting for me to "forget"
Hates when Garett lays down next to me (I am his mommy not G's)
When Gar will not share a toy (course Ben did not want it until Gar has it)
Hates his face washed (and he is a dirt digger)
Hates when I ignore him when he has decided that the backyard is not enough and it is time for a walk.
Hates when I have been on the computer too long, so he decides (along with Gar to sit on my lap and play with the keyboard)
Hates his teeth brushed and
Really hates the vets

Gar hates all of the above plus when my Sake, a 20 pound siamese won't play with him.

Starsky's pet peeves:

1: BATHS! (has to be #1 peeve)
2: When I leave to take the trash out or go to the bathroom
3: Crated while I am at work
4: Getting shots!
5: When big brother Haggis (Beagle) won't play
6: Rain, cold weather
7: Putting shirts over his head!
8: When he can't get down off the bed
9: Brushing teeth and hair
and finally
10:Mommy on internet not paying attention to me!

One strange love of his, is getting in the shower after I have finished trying to get the water before it drains and also licking the water droplets off my feet and legs! WEIRD, I KNOW!

Gota love um!

I've got 5. None of them like baths.
They don't mind being brushed.
They don't like their teeth brushed.
They don't like it that I don't allow them outside by themselves or that I bring them in too soon.
They don't like it when they can't get out of the bedroom and I'm in another part of the house, a couple of them can open the door and then we have Yorkieflood. (door not completely shut)
As above they don't like to be where I'm not.
They don't like it when I won't share people food.
And I'm not sure but I wonder about the hair bows. When I put them in it's a hair pulling fest. Maybe it's just a game?
We have a few who are afraid of Thunder.

Pirogue's main peeve is that when we've thrown his ball for hours(seems like) we won't throw it for more.
He likes to tease the others with his ball but boy they better not get it.

Lady doesn't like it when I tell her to get off the bed. (still some discharge after babies)
And she really, really, REALLY hates using paper, she wants to go outside. (no fence)
She also doesn't like it when I roll my chair back and get on her hair but she won't stay out from under me.

Autumn's peeves are that I won't take her everywhere I go, inside and out and car trips.

Lacijo's peeves are that she can't get out of the bedroom(can't move the door) and someone else laying on daddy's shoulder.
She also hates it when she steals Mr. Bigs chews and he won't stop barking at her.

Mr. Big's peeves are getting left in the bedroom, left on the bed and getting his chews stolen out of his mouth.

Cocoa's pet peeves:
1. Being put in play pen.
2. Being left alone at home.
3. Crate.
4. Bath!
5. Grooming.
6. Having his eye boogies removed.
7. Wearing clothes or shoes.

Gucci's pet peeves:
1) Getting her teeths brush
2) Nail Clipping
3) Baths
4) When someone touches or moves her toys
5) To be pet by my kids or hubby while eating a treat, I guess she thinks they want to take it away
6) Not getting Human food
7) When Mama tells her 'No Bark"
