Is This Normal.....? Hi all, sorry i havnt been on in a wile, ive been having to much fun with larsson, anyway, is it normal for yorkies to be so hyper, i mean really hyper, i thought yorkies were easy go lucky kinda dog, no... |
Hyper! Don't know if it is true for all yorkies, but my daughter has 2 and I have 1 and they are pretty hyper--they also think they are human!!:) We love 'em that way. But they can wear you out quick!!! |
Mine are not hyper. They all like to lay around on the sofa or rugs. How old is yours? It could be he is a puppy. T. |
I guess they have different personalities, just like we do! |
Mine is just a puppy but I would say that she is not hyper however, when she is up and about sometimes she can be a bit active and into things. I make sure I take her for a nice brisk walk at least once a day and then we usually go outside for a couple hours as well and I have her on a long lead and she can run about the yard and investigate whatever she likes. Then when she comes in, she's usally pooped and content to jump up on my lap and take a nap. Just like people, I think all dogs are different and you might have one that takes a little more to tire out. I would be sure to take him on a nice long walk and let him get out some of that energy. Good luck!! |
I have 4 little ones all pretty much the same age range. Just at a year 1/2 or so. I wouldn't have it any other way. They are so entertaining that I can spend hours just sitting on the floor playing and watching them. |
Puppies are just like babies. Some are hyper and some are not. Mine gets hyper for a span of 5-10 minutes after I let him out of his room and after that he just lay on the sofa next to me. |
Wobie's hyper, but he's still a puppy. It helps that he walks 2-3 times a day. |
One of mine was hyper when he was younger. Hes 2 1/2 now and for the most part calm. My other one has always been calmer |
Mine are almost 2 years old and they are NUTS!!!! I mean hyper hyper! When they crash though, they really crash! |
