I Usually Leave Harvey About 5 Different Toys Out At One Time, He Does Have A Favorite. But Will Still Play With All His Toys. I Rotate Them Every Few Weeks, Leaving His Favourite Out. He Insists On Having Them All Out - As Quick As I Put Them In His Bed, Trying To Keep Tidy, He Gets Them All Out Again - It Is As If He Is Saying ' I Decide When My Toys Are Out - Not You - So Just Leave Them Be !!!!! ' |
We have a lot of toys out too. They play with different ones at different times. I have a wicker basket with some of their toys in it and it is so fun to watch them go over to it and decide what to take out. Especially the little Maltese - she almost goes bottom end up to get something out. :) We also rotate toys. I have two or three  boxes of toys that get rotated when I remember to do it. The pups think Christmas has come when I drag out a box. They love to tear into it and find an old favorite. :D Now, if I could just teach them to put the toys away...... |

My first Yorkie for 12 years only had two adored bears, one at home and the other at "Grandad's". He refused to play with anything else. Now, we have Maxwell -- he has lots of toys, but I have to hide our underwear, because that's his favorite thing to drag out into the living room floor. Next favorite is socks. Sigh...I'm always thrilled when he goes in the basket under the end table and brings out an actual toy that I bought for him! |
