Help with the whelping box PLEASE I seen several people say to put wax free floss in the whelping box. My sister has a puppy that will deliver in about 25- 30 days and we are trying to get everything ready I have read some websights to help step us through the prosess but there are a few things they didnt tell us about. What is the wax free floss for? How do I clean the mother up after birth or does she do all that by herself? So far I have the box, she has already started sleeping in it. We have towels, gloves, pee pads, milk and bottles just in case for the puppys, paper towels, bugger getter, themomater, scales, clorox wipes to keep the area clean, What are we missing? |
This web-site http://www.debbiejensen.com/ has a TON of information. EVERYTHING you need to know.. |
I would get some hemostats and a little notepad to keep track of weigths when the puppies are born and as they get older. I dont use dental floss but some people do to tie off of the navals. |
You sound very prepared...but what do I know? Just wanted to wish you good luck! |
i don't use dental floss either. I have hemostats to clamp the cord off. |
I love this websight. Quote:
