I was gone the whole day, and of course I had to check in here the second I returned!! Papi, I just loved the pictures you showed us of Patticake's future home, especially the signs! The giant wee-wee pad one had me rolling on the floor. And aaaaah.... all that grass for those frantic wild puppy dashes fondly known as the "zoomies" - can you just imagine your little bundle of fur there. She will go nuts running around, hopping into the air like a demented little fat rabbit.

Lori, good grief! I'm glad you were not on the road when you got that flat!! I'm also glad you didn't have to buy/order a new tire!! I was wondering what you did, as I know AAA will put the donut spare on...but that wouldn't be good enough for your journey!!!
Thank you all for the pictures and all the updates! I really enjoy this thread and I am so excited, you'd think Patticake was on her way to MY house!!!

Yep! Sukoshi's wardrobe includes PetSmart, Wal-mart, Target, eBay, and then plenty from all the wonderful vendors on here. She's a well-rounded puppy!

I too have to say "I'm lovin' it"...This has been so much fun for me as well as all of you...Keep up the good work...How's the weather been? Seeing any exciting sites along the way.It sure is good to have Bre there to lend a helping hand. And Papi, are you ready...she's comin', it'll be here soon!!! I hope your drive today was a smooth one after that fouled startup with the flat tire. I am just sooooo thankful that it did not happen while you were on the road!!! Maybe there was a Kassie Angel somewhere over the Rainbow Ridge looking out for you and the new baby that is on her way to her precious Papi....:littleang

GREAT JOB, Lori!

You're making excellent time -- AND traveling with THREE Yorkies and a fur-free child. I think that is grounds for some kind of medal.:)

And you're even managing to post pictures besides ... can martyrdom be far off?

Well every one I think I got all my stuff done I am gonna get some shut eye I hope tobe able to get some pictures in the morning by the lake befor we head East:)


OH AND I WILL POST OUR ROUTE FOR OUR TRIP BACK IF THERE ARE ANY YT MEMBERS ON THE ROUTE WHO WANNA VISIT LET ME KNOW :)

I'm in New Jersey, south of Papi. Glad to hear things are on track and everyone is doing well. I know a road trip like that is boring for Bre and you still have that hard ride across the Penna Turnpike. I went to nursing school in Harrisburg and hated that ride.
For those of you who have never visited NJ, it is quite different than you'd think. Although we are about an hour or so south of NYC and about 1 1/2 hrs from Phila, the difference is amazing (some big city areas Newark, Jersey City, Atlantic City). We live close to the beach (Papi is about 30-45 min north) and have to get in the car to go to the stores. Lots of green grass (at this time of year) in my area. There is alot of NJ that is open area and still farm land (cranberries further south), lots of jersey tomatoes grown here and jersey corn (yum).
