Will her hair ever grow? 3 Attachment(s) Summerlin's hair seems to have stopped growing.... she'll be six months old next week. I thought her hair would be longer by now. My hubby says it might not get any longer at all! Could he be right? I use some shampoo that comes from a local shop - it's lavendar and oatmeal, made by Cedar Creek Soaps, and she has a teaspoon of missing link with her food every day. Does anyone have any advice on how to make her hair grow? |
hmmm maybe give her a fish oil capsule everyday along with the missing link |
It's her breed, and I don't think you can make the hair grow anylonger than it is, but I do know that by the time she's two, her hair will be a bit longer and thicker. |
Her hair resembles a jack russel my ex-husband owned. I think it was called a "broken coat", kind of feathery on top with a bit of an undercoat. I could be wrong. I think she's beautiful!! She looks like she's very soft. |
She's beautiful but maybe due to her breed it won't get longer. |

Maybe the chihuahua in her won in this department... (She is yorkie/chihuahua, right?) |

Yes, she is a yorkie/chihuahua.... I was just hoping that her hair would get longer. I love her regardless, so I guess it shouldn't matter if her hair grows or not :) I was just wondering if there was anything I could do to help it along.... Thanks, guys! :) |
i don't have a clue what to offer for advice but she sure is a cutie pie :) |
3 Attachment(s) I hate to tell you, but I doubt her hair will get much longer. My mom has a yorkie/chi (at least that is what we think she is) that I rescued from the shelter. We got her at a little under a year old and her hair did get a bit thicker but never got much length to it. Her are pics of her. The one on Santas lap was when she was a year old. The other two are more recent (shes 3.5 now). That is as long as her hair gets, we never have her trimmed or anything. |
