Want to share my story... I want you guys to know the reason behind my getting my new baby. I really feel it is meant to be this time. A few weeks back I was pulling weeds from around She-Ra's grave. I was talking to her like I always do...catching her up on things...even though I knew she could see. I told her how much I miss her and when she thought it was ok for me to love another Yorkie again...let me know. We wnet to Nashville that following weekend, and EVERYWHERE we went I found a Yorkie collectible...even saw people walking them. I bought alot of cute stuff, and Tim bought me that Beanie one. I never saw that many collectibles when I actually had one and I told Tim..."Where were these when I needed them?" He laughed and told me to get what I wanted. We had a nice vacation and came home. I unpacked and went to check my emails and my home forum. There was the lady I got Dixie from selling her new Yorkie babies on there. Of course I thought...wow...how awesome is that! She only had 2 girls...so I figured they were already gone. I got a hold of her and she still had one left. I sat there for a minute...thinking of Nashville, and that moment I realized these were signs, and I didn't see them!!! I told her YES I want her!! I have never felt so sure about something in my life. I really think She-Ra is ready for me to share the love I have for her with a baby girl. I will never be able to replace her, but I am hoping this new baby will make her proud!!! Anyhow...just thought you guys would like to know.;) |
Wow, what a neat story! How long have you had your new baby girl? Or have you gotten her yet? |
Awwww- the signs are always there--we just need to have our eyes open.;) So happy for you! |
This is a beautiful story . |
That's great! Can't wait till she's home with you; you'll have to post lots of pictures. :) |
That is so neat! When are you going to be able to bring her home? Do you have a name picked out? CONGRATS! Tammy |
You have tollally made my day and have made my HEART:hearts33: smile. |
Your story made me cry. I'm happy for you! I would love to see pictures and what did you name her? |
That's awesome! Everyone has their own way of handling grief, but I truly believe our babies wouldn't want us to be sad or lonely without them. While you surely cannot replace your girl, there is always a baby somewhere that could benefit from all that excess love! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! |

She was born April 17, 2007...so I think she is coming home around the end of June!! I am going to go see her next week...maybe a name will come to me then!!:p |
That's such a sweet story. |
I think She-ra would have wanted you to move on . . . . and getting another yorkie is part of that . . . . she would want you to be happy and knowing how good of a yorkie mom you are, it would just have been a shame for you not to. I am so very excited for you and the baby's arrival. We cannot wait to see pictures. I bet even She-ra is jumping up and down with joy with this news :) Happy Memorial weekend and huggles from my angels. |
Congratulations! I am so very glad you "listened" to She-Ra talking to you. I am so very happy that you will have a new fur-daughter to love. She-Ra will always live on in your heart and thoughts --and she will be smiling at you and guiding you as you take care of the new wee little girl. |
