Warm Laundry/wet Towel Are your dogs obsessed with warm laundry?? I barely get the basket on the floor and there they go pulling it all over and making a bed! THEY LOVE IT! And my Bella when I take a shower and she see's the towel on my head she whines and whines until I lay the wet towel on the floor and she rolls all over it cleaning her face and any part of her body she can rub on it..Its really strange. Anyone elses do this?? |
Ellie doesn't like wet towels but when you put a dry load of clothes in the living room she jumps right up in them. Sometimes she waits until you look away to do it though. I like to sit under warm laundry and when she was young I taught her to enjoy it also. :) In fact, just last night I had to take her for her last potty run of the night and had to make her get out of a big pile of towels on the chair. She was taking her before bed nap in them. |
lol sounds like me! Mine are so rotten when they go potty outside and the dew gets them a bit wet, I throw towels in the dryer and gettem warm and they snuggle right in!!! It also helps dry them...Bella loves Blowdryer and would let me blow dry 24-7 Diggy HaTeS It! :aimeeyork |
I never knew Ellie liked the blow dryer until a few weeks ago but she hates air in her face. When you take her in the bathroom with you sometimes she will sit in front of the heater vent and steal all the warm air. I couldn't find her twice in a week once and she was behind the chair in the living room both times geting warm in front of the vent. I guess she takes after me because I sit on/by vents to get warm.:winky: |
Baby just loooves warm cloths and the hair dryer. :jump28ib: She is 3 lbs and always cold. :cold smil She looks funny wearing a sweater here in Texas when it is 105 outside! :winky: |
Warmth!!! 2 Attachment(s) lol thats funny. Im in Michigan and cold does not seem to bother Bella. She welcomes a fresh drift of snow with a pounce and big rolling! She is around 5.5-5.8 pounds. Her frame is tiny though Id say she could stand to lose a bit...her frame is about the size of most yorkies that weight 4 pounds. Most people guess her to be 3-4 pounds Im like Noooo under that lovely hair she is a SAUSAGE GIRL!! Not quite a tea pot, but def. not a tea cup! ANyway she loves the cold/snow in small amounts I dont let her run around wet at all. She gets all blow dried and warmed up! When I blow dry my hair she BEGS for a few minutes of blowing for herself! :aimeeyork Here she is attacking my daughters uggs after a snow storm! |
Snuggles loves the snow the blowdryer as well. Snitch cries when we bring in the warm laundry .i usually takeout a quilt and rap him up in my lap and he falls asleep instanly. There were a few times i didnt take the warm cloths out the laundry bag and he started pulling stuff out and made his own bed..lol. these guys know where the good stuff is:dogzzz: |
dryer sheets emmy pretends to like the warm dry laundry, but i know she is really only looking for the dryer sheet--if she finds it first, i have to tear after her to get it back. i usually only manage to get it from her by enticing her with a piece of cheese--her favorite snack!:aimeeyork |
Omg Yes Yes Yes My lil stud "Deucy" was taught to LOVE warm towels out of the dryer from his FIRST bath. I've done the same with Acee and Jcee...AND Sadie Ann. They SOO look forward to bath time and ALWAYS fall to sleep in the warm towel as I'm grooming them and blow drying. NOTHING BEATS THAT.......NOTHING. |
