When is a Yorkie full grown?? Hey I was wondering at what age does a Yorkie stop growing, or is full-grown. If anyone has the answer I would love to know. CoCo is 7 1/2 months and is 3 lbs. She is crazy and has no fears lol, so I am hoping she gets at least 1/2 to 1 more pound on her. So if anyone knows when Yorkies usually stop growing I would love to know it too. Thanks |
My vet has said that Sukoshi will grow for about the first year, and then she will be done, so I say give it another few months. |
I don't think she'll get to 4 lbs...maybe 3.5. I know by her age, growing slows down a lot... |
My Dougal had a growth spurt between one and two and put on 1 1/2 kg -- about 3lbs. Dixie stopped growing up at about one but kept sort of filling out until she was about 18 months. |
I think most are done growing between 7 months and 1 year of age. I don't think she'll put on more than 1/2, but you never know... |
